Best colours for corrados?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently searching for a C VR6. I have come across quite a few nice sounding examples, ut i'd love to have a colour that is perhaps a bit sought-after/rare. Is there any that you lot can think of, other than yellow??

I've always preferred the darker colours, but there's a couple of lightish purple's that look pretty good, twilight violet & ice grey violet I think they're called... don't see too many of those around!

DtM.

found one under the class of Dusty Mauve, is this a Corrado colour too or are they thinking of the ice grey one? Seen a couple of metallic red ones, but i'm not too sure about those, but i've also seen a "Blackberry" one. Any ideas about that? :?

Dusty Mauve Pearl, available only in '92 code LC5P...

Blackberry Metallic '94-'95 code LK4Z...

I have the '95 model year brochure at home (real & pdf) if you want a copy of the page with the colours on it...

I know, I'm sad...

Must have been the Ice Grey Violet then, as they claimed the dusty mauve was on an M plater!

If you could mail me the PDF of the brochure that'd be great, that way then i can see what i'm looking forward to!

Cheers

Not sure if you can get a VR in this colour but Pearl Blue is the colour to have, especially when the suns out. It goes a wicked shade of purple and in the dark there's hints of green.

I think it's got to either be the dark metallic green or the blackberry metallic for me....

Which is *obviously* why I'm driving a L041 solid black VR6!!!???

Ice grey violet would be the colour for me if i didn't have me storm

though i also like Tornado red on early C's and i must admit i've grown to love classic green(was originally after a mystic blue storm)

When I first got my vr I wasnt sure about the colour and preffered the Moonlight Blue of my 16v, Twilight Violet has really grown on me now though and I think its definately one of the best colours. :D

Heres a pic, not my car but it shows off the colour better than any of mine.
