but I think the blue Hammerite option is the best so far.

Ya I'm thinking the same thing. As I want something to stand out but not clash with the colour of the car but dont forget they need to stand out through these small gaps :confused4:

Right I got two colours in mind to paint the calipers one is Silver the other is light Blue.

 

What does every one think? any other colour ideas?

I got a inlet manifold today thanks to shaung60. Going to get it looking nice and shiny just like the cam cover I've got on the way from StrictlyDubs.

Its not easy finding one this good just got to be lucky I gess ( or miss out on another one, ey andy :lol: )

 

Just keep looking on here and Piston heads and the car will find you

At the moment it is still looking standard going to either polish it up my self or look at sending it off to some were to do it for me

 

Will get some pics up of my ever growing pile of goodies soon

Car has went through the 80,000 miles mark today

 

Nearly catching you up Vaughan :lol: :lol: :lol: and for once it isnt really in a good way, but every mile I've driven in it so far has been worth it

Glad you're still enjoying it :) - I reckon miles are like years - not so much how many you have under your belt but how hard or :norty: they've been.

Spent yesterday cleaning then started to paint the brake calipers and carriers.

 

To start with

HAHA ya I didnt get chance to do any today, not enough room in the garage and the days of getting high in my room have long gone :lol: but didnt have a new paint brush so couldnt do anything.

 

You must of done a good job cleaning them as even with a drill and wire brush drill bit I didnt get much more off of them :D
