double-6s 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I'm 35 (mental age of 12) VWs I've had include: Bay window camper (psychadelic paint job inc. magic mushrooms and a pyramid with an eye - 'don't touch the brown acid man!') Mk2 Golf 1.8 Driver - Red (could take a ragging) Still alive! Mk2 Golf GTi 16v - Red (turned out to be some b*stard creation that started life as an 8v - pile of junk but went ok) Dead Mk3 Golf VR6 - Pepper Red (40k miles in a year all at max attack, then it died) Type 25 2 litre twin carb camper LHD - Brown (excellent van - went all over europe with no problems) Still alive! Corrado VR6 - Black (currently on 2nd engine and a few mods) Current car :) Corrado VR6 - Moonlight Blue Pearl (totally standard - very cheap!) Current car :) I've also had countless other sheds, but the thread asked about VWs ;) The moral of he story? Almost every car I've ever owned has been way more reliable than the Rados, but way less fun! :)

Yandards 0 Posted November 10, 2006 29 (Not sure why people bother sticking a birthday in on the forum if its not a joke one but hey ho) Only started driving 9 years ago as I didn't have the cash to pay for either a car, lessons or insurance ;) Dubs has been in reverse order, started with my C in January 04, then a rocco later that year in Novemember. Recently bought a MK.II in September this year, details in sig. Still got all of them and no plans to get rid of any yet. Also owned July 97 - July 98 'B' Suzuki Swift 1.3 GS - Was pretty quick, drove like a go kart and was going rusty. (Sold it a mate a work - took them 2 and half years with no oil changes and ragging it to blow it up!) July 98 - August 99 'E' Honda Integra 1.5 auto - It was my mums old car... written off when some dozy bint drove up the back of it whilst it was parked on a wide road on a clear day!! March 99 - Date 'L' Triumph GT6 MK.III - Daily driver for few months and has spent more time off the road in bits since then, currently at 2cc's work in the carpark covered in primer. August 99 - February 2001 - 'F' BMW 318i - Great car, loads of fun in the wet. February 2001 - June 05 - 'R' Pug 306 D Turbo - Good engine but thats about it and electrics designed by a chimp with a hangover. More than happy with the build quality on the dubs - the only thing that came close is the BMW.
