advertised on gumtree (£2900) the usual non working sunroof, interior looks well worn but no apparent holes, both front and rear.

from the pictures front suspension turrets look rusty - car living by the sea?

I don't think I could entertain those suspenion turrets! My car has a layer of wax over them (and other metal work in the bay) so i'm suprised to see it's rusting there.

Oh, it's a bit tatty here and there.

The write up paints it nicely for the auction. No wonder they left the interior out.

What about the fact it has 3 weeks MOT. I’d be a bit wary, of why the seller hasn’t put 12 months on it. I bet the brake lines and sill fronts don’t look any better than the engine bay.

I asked about this recently, its a decent enough car but does need a tidy up in different areas. Just needs a freshen up.

Anybody that pays that for a Corrado or even Mk2 Golf etc needs their head read.

Just because people are asking that price doesn't mean there worth it.

That’s the sort of money Corrados should be Commanding today, based upon similar classics from the same era.

If only. The crazy thing is that even if you purchased the auction car for a couple of grand it would cost you another £10k to get it into the condition of the advertised Storm.

To get a Rado in good condition and purchase you are looking at 10k this it totally fact.

Remember folks people forked out good money for these cars back in the 90s new.

If you look at the link below it will show you what a Rado VR6 would cost new in today's money. £40K base price - with options £45K

The Morris Leslie auction Corrado VR6 sold for £2332. Fairly strong money for a car that requires a new interior, sun roof etc.
