Just signed up so thought I would say hi, bought my first ever corrado about 3 weeks ago, it’s a G60 with a stage 4 charger (rebuilt bu jabbasport) 68mm pulley and runs at 14.5 psi (is this good I have no idea).

Been around vws for a few years and this add to my collection of a mk1 golf gti, mk1 caddy, mk4 golf, 1972 1600 beetle and a daily touran. Do have others but won’t bore you with them lol.

Anyway I’m sure will will pop up asking questions and doing a lot of searching

Welcome to the forum - you're in the right place for answers to Corrado queries and there's a wealth of knowledge on here. It's worth checking out the search feature thoroughly, as a lot of stuff has been exhaustively covered already.

Welcome to the greatest Corrado information forum . Got to respect a vw hoarder and looking forward to seeing some pics of the family.

Any questions, post up. Someone will have had the issue before and Dox is a legend at finding the old thread info 😊

Yea just a tad beetle and corrado I have only owned about 3-4 weeks. Beetle been locked away for 25 years and I bought it and booked it in for a mot as it looks solid apart from a bit of paint.

The corrado has its issues which I’m going to slowly sort but it’s great fun to drive and it’s booked in for paint in November. Main issue is the idle. Previous owner said something about the isv?? I don’t know anything about these engines so I’m slowly learning

What a collection, love it

My first car was a Land Rover. Stripped  it down and put it back together with my dad. Sold it to my sister after 3 years and bought a XR3i, 3 years of that and then a G60. The Land Rover was a lot of fun to drive @ 18 but very cold in the depths of winter

Really need some emergency help and I can’t make a post as haven’t paid up yet. I have lost my electric windows and mirrors and the central locking. Windows are currently down and need to get them up before it rains tonight

sounds like a potential fuse issue if all 3 have gone suddenly

I don't believe the ones in the engine bay are for the windows etc,

I would take the fuses out and test across for continuity.... then start looking for voltage elsewhere

as cressa said - you want to be checking the fuse board under the drivers side dash to begin with

AFIK the only fuse under the bonnet is for the rad fans

The fuse box has a locking mechanism to stop the plugs on the rear from popping off.

Make sure its locked in place - if its not check for loose plugs on the rear of the fusebox
