From one shady character to another - hey hey!

Hey, welcome Quick word of advice - lose your email address from that first post. Not so much because of shady characters on here - more over spammers and other peeps harvesting your email address for spamming... PM is up at the top, quickest way is to click "You have no new messages" (or you have xxx messages if you do!) Enjoy randal

£100,000,000 that's PhilK's :D

Yep, if you look on the bulkhead around the place where the passenger foot well is - you should see a rubber bung you can remove/pierce to pass a cable through. Then it's just a case of running it under the carpets, or along the door channels where the carpet meets the plastic trim. Once that cable is through, it's an easy job. Managed to wire my amp/speakers in about an hour start to finish. Depending on what head unit you've got, you might have some grief getting it to sit right. I had a big ol bunch of cables/connectors behind the HU and it wouldn't sit right. Ended up removing the dash clock trim and the glovebox to manipulate the cables into a good position. Best of luck randal

I hear that, I'm good for a return to normality. Although, as with everyone's comments on here - they are valid, as opinions are. Isn't that what the Internet is all about anyway? Freedom of speech? (well, within limits - I do have a few choice phrases for the Re-Elect Bush website) :D

Ah OK. Both very nice C's all the same. Do love those wheels, even more so polished. ta randal

Isn't that black one Scruffydubber's?

it was eBay by the way......and funnily enough it was your new "friend's" very first post...................Randal saying that he came on to hock his wares was IMO valid too.........the Forum first and foremost is meant to be a place of information and help for Corrado enthusiasts a lot of people seem to think its just there for punting their stuff  I know this is flogging a dead horse a little bit, but I've just seen this comments again. My intention by posting that was not to rile our new American compadre into spitting teeth - merely to highlight the point - again - of the what the forum is used for. Notice, when he got stroppy, I made a point of not rising to it - as well, arguing on the internet is pretty pointless. Regardless of topic. OK, I wasn't the most politcally correct person when doing so - but I never am. Blame my parents for my morally devoid upbringing. That's me done on the subject... good night vienna. randal The link below illustrates my point, however - do not click if you are easily offended. http://300bps.org/albums/funnyshit/abg.jpg

How many ladies are you engaged to dude?

Alex, Fair points you've made there, and as far as him being an enthusiast and a Corrado lover is concerned - there isn't a problem. I think the main gist of what people are getting at is the ol' "dressing mutton up as lamb" scenario. I drive a 16V, but I wouldn't dream of touting it as something it's not. I will get a VR6 one day, but until that day - I'm a valver driver, and the 16V badge on the back will not be coming off to be replaced by something else. OK, comments/opinions noted on here are not exactly the nicest in the world - mine included on page one. BUT, they were said without prior insight as to a) what sorta person he was b) his aquaintance to you c) the view that he was dressing up a G plate valver as a rare marque of 'rado. My 2p's too. :)

Now there's comfort turned to brown trousers... When you say noisy - do you mean you get the ol' whine?

Personally, I'm a fan of the Smoked rears/ leave smoked repeaters combo. I do like those FK's in smoked, especially on a nugget yellow rado. 8)

You expect anything less? :|

Daaaaaamn, that is nice. Those wheels really compliment the rest of the car. Very nice indeed... Welcome :D (well, you would have been welcome regardless of car!) randal

M15 VW sorted out interior grab handles at a rate of knots! Very impressed, kept me informed, spot on! :D

That Yellowcard album is the shiznit, track 11 - believe. That's a drive stoopid song if ever I heard one. Amazing, gives me goosebumps listening to it. Don't think I've heard anything pertaining to 9/11 that is so apt. Counting Crows album is spot on too, Miami.... :)

Maaaan. I takes it those are the "beyond economical repair" spoils? :(

Happy Birthday Ian, may all your returns be grande! I expect your hangover will be of similar size too! :drinking: Go man go, chug chug chug!

Tsk tsk, donuts :D Is that G60BV's wagon?

stevemac, Henny, cheers for the replies first off. :) Woo, was right - overfuelling. Sigh, another problem to sort. I'll have a look tomorrow morning, when it's light - although a few beers, torch and a screwdriver could prove amusing :D Henny, I *think* there's a blue plugin sensor on the fuel rail on the right hand side - is this the puppy you are talking about?
-
Oh yeah, checked the fuel lines etc.. no problems there. Grr, bloody thing.
