  1. I did some investigating when i still had my G60 a couple years ago and was looking at various options. All got very confusing....so many options! My conclusion back then was that you could pretty much have what you wanted, as long as you want to pay for it! Might be worth emailing em tho, as the website just confuses me
  2. ah with brembo's! why didnt you say so.... the brembo ones to my knowledge are 305 on the 4 studs. Thats not to say you wouldnt be able to buy some aftermarket 305's for a 5 stud from someone like wilwood, but im not 100% sure on that, would need to investigate..... 8)
  3. im not quite sure what you mean there m8y, 280mm is smaller and the stock size, 288mm is smaller and from late mk3's onward. Not sure about 305mm, but im sure Ive heard of em on something corrado... lol
  4. yeah those are the instructions i followed. Thats how ive done it, altho there didnt seem to be something to peel off on both sides of the new polarizing film.
  5. i can assure you there is! the new polarizing film that came in the kit, in front of the screen, with red filters & 1 white behind screen
  6. I actually really like TT's....been considering one myself! For 10k you'd be able to get a nice 225 I would have thought, or maybe an even nicer 180. But like you say, steer clear of the 150 FWD model. Dont really know why, just always been told this.
  7. OI! nowt wrong with Leighton! Not that I actually live in there, I live in Eaton Bray, just outside Leighton....Theres actually a few C's round here, see a valver most days, and there is also another VR around i see from time to time. And bloody hell m8, your brother must be mad! 2 and a half hours!!
  8. yeah used both red filters in the order described above :?
  9. Bojmobile, thats how i wanted it to look! but mine look a more like the dodgy photoshop below.
  10. LOL! that looks familiar...is that my garage? ;)
  11. yeah im pretty sure I did, as the other way around it'd just be dark red numbers on a light red background, surely, or am i missing the point?
  12. oh and which ones the hall sender?
  13. forgot to say, had a service a month ago, where leads & plugs were changed for new, and vagcom only pointed out the failing ABS sensor at that time. Admitedly that was a month ago now, but still new plugs and leasds shouldnt be an issue.
  14. Just recently, my VR6 has been a little bit hesitant, as in when I'm not on 100% throttle it wants to go, then drops power, then starts to pick up again. It also feels a little bit flat sometimes, like all the powers been taken away. Admittedly the fuel pumps a little loud, but its been like that since I brought her. Maybe worth a fuel filter change do you think?
  15. yes i did that. Just to reiterate, I think I followed the instructions correctly: Removed old filter, then order of bits: new filter, Glass, Red filters, white filter, white plastic bit.
  16. Fit my DDI stuff the other day, firstly can I say it looks 8) very happy. Only issue I do now have is the Red digital bit. I've seen all the pics of the guys who have this and its got red digits on a black background. Well mine is Red digits on a slightly darker red background! What have I done wrong?!? :(
  17. I got ACE alloys on mine, seem fine to me....
  18. LOL !! i just got some funny looks at work....
  19. Yeah same here, the whole light unit in the dash is knackered, so didnt know if the ABS worked or not, untill obviously i got no TC and skidded when braking hard ;) Turns out my passenger front sensor and the dash unit both need to be replaced, but it didnt fail on ABS.
  20. slightly OT, but Therapor do you have any pics of yours? I've got the DDi dials with the same rings as you, wouldnt mind seeing waht its going to look like!! :)
  21. right o, ok I may use 8.8 instead then. Cant see em getting undone anytime soon so shoulod be fine then, unless i manage to get some higher tensile stuff. Not going to do this weekend, got the DDI dials instead, so will fit the new brakes next weekend I think.
  22. Mike Edwards, what about the recommendation that they need to be at least 10.9 rated? all the ones I can see are 8.8 cheesewire, buttles, cheers guys.
  23. Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I am really struggling to find anywhere near me/on the web where I can get the high tensile bolts from :( I've got the all the other bits, in fact my sister works for a honing company and they made me the spacers. They make loads of bits for F1 cars so made em out of quality materials as well! Got some spare sets if anyones interested.....but more importantly I need these bolts!! LOL! :?
