I your not running a staggered setup, then I'd swap your wheels from front to back to see if the 205 fit better (I had no rubbing issues with 205/40/17's).

I personally wouldn't touch a amp so cheap. Offering loads of watts doesn't offer quality of sound, plus likely to be quoting peak power not RMS. You get what you pay for with car audio.
-
I drive mine when it's cold though, not just sunny weekends. :)
-
Shame your not local as 1. I'd have had a look at it for you and 2. I have a nice Sony 2 channel amp in my garage that could have been had for £40.
-
Did a change to redline not long ago and gear changes do feel smoother. Only downside is it feels thicker when cold.
-
My valver is called Christine because of the book (its red and possessed). Shame she doesn't fix herself.

My Corrado is running pretty much the best it ever had and mechanically/electrically wants for nothing (touches wood), so though I best do sommat. I was wondering about maybe getting the head flowed to pep her up some more but have no idea who's recommended for such a job and what gains could be had. When I had my old MBG flowed by Peter Burgess (a master with the B series engine) it gave 30% more BHP at the crank.

Get that loom plugged in while your in there.

Hi Paul, I have 2 spares, definitely a C which lifts the spoiler at 55-60mph and possibly an A (45mph). I have spares as assumed this was my problem, but turned out to be the clocks. Stuart.

You wouldn't think so, I drive mine daily and have only had 2 driving the opposite direction and it was possibly the same car. Met Wayne who is less than a mile from mine, but have never seen him driving about (must be all the garage time). Seen a couple parked up, including a green VR in Oxenhope, which is now sporting a "for sale" sign. Yorkshire meeting would be good. Cressa welcome aboard, your spanners will never go rusty.
-
It should be just plug/play but maybe one night so you can test the benefits of illumination.
-
Headlight switch. If you uprate the loom all the switch does is feed a relay, not the power drawn by the lights.
-
Your more likely to cause electrical gremlins (fires) powering the lights through the switch.

Uprated loom required for those amber glow worms

All info in here http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=14458&page=2&highlight=spoiler+transistor but read it first as VR and Valver clocks differ internally.
-
You could race me to the petrol station, the VR will always win :)

Ok so last night I swapped out my clocks for an ebay set. Mileage is give/take 2k more than mine but I did hope the change would fix the spoiler. Anyway a test drive to the shops, 45mph seen and no movement. This morning however 60mph seen and up she goes, OMG I have the VR spec module fitted :) :) :) speed drops to slow and down she goes.....how the hell I'm not gonna crash when watching this I'll never know. Now to order a replacement transistor (the bit that allegedly fails) for my old clocks and fix them.
-
Worked on switch but seemed to pause/stick so stripped/cleaned and now its smooth. It's never worked automatically for me :(
-
Might have a go at this tonight when I swap out my clocks to see if that fixes. If it does then transistor required for original clocks so I can keep the mileage correct.....not that it is correct having been rebuilt 50k miles ago.

Saves pulling the fuse box out too. Multi connector at top left of fuse box (when looking from behind) - has 4 x blue connectors plugged in next to each other....like this http://www.3dzubehor.com/B4/9vt12k1x3qwul2c3how.jpg
-
Will have another go at the pin 8 to W1. I'm sure I tested continuity from pin 8 to multi connector with the blue/white wire connector, not W1. Cable tracer - I have 2 lol.
-
Now I'm lost with T43 too and no mention of it on here http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE2.html Speedo works so I assume the problem (if wiring) is somewhere further down the chain. Cable tracer? I have a few multimeters but is this something else? Gonna change my spoiler module tonight for one of my spares to see if anything changes.
-
2.0, 1992 and the mileage is digital.
-
I think the wire tested was white/blue and I only checked that it had continuity to the multiplug on the top of the fuse box. My understanding it the VSS goes to the clocks, then out to the multiplug - I may be wrong however.
-
Yes, checked when I had the fuse box out to fit the heated seats.
