Hmm interesting post... I had a friend at uni who said her cousin was in the air force and they had found Esso was the best fuel. So I guess it's a sort of second on how good Esso is. Ironically she drove a heap of shite, more rust than car Pug 106 diesel, so a) she would have been better off getting BP diesel and b) the state it was in, you might as well just shove chip fat in it :D

Aye, what Chaos said, I've seen similar dials and I want them :) I'll hopefully have a C in a couple of weeks, so please count me in :)

That post doesn't exist apparently, but I'll pester Andi or VR6 about them. The first purchase for the Corrado has been a VW lanyard and some stickers :)... it's only going to get more expensive from now on :D
-
Yeah I know... and he thought it was about 5hp down from stock... He also had a non OEM exhaust, but even stil the VR just sounds wonderful when you let it loose. There was a big stereo in there that didn't even get turned on :) I could listen to that all day!
-
Yeah sorry I should point out I don't actually have a C (yet) so I'm going on what others have said, so vr6storm prolly knows better :D
-
Oh yeah are those stickers still available? I clicked the link and it's dead :( Need to get my CCGB membership sorted too...
-
Yeah it was very 8) especially was it was a mini 3 C cruise too. Wrong side of the bloody road so I kept going to change gear and smacking the door tho  He said the engine was due for a rebuild so it was about 10hp down...and I thought it was quick as it was Wooo I can't wait to get one :D:D:D:D:D:D

Anh from the CCC was nice enough to let me drive his Corrado today and any doubt that I may have had about getting one has gone! They are truly fantastic cars to drive, lots of feeling, go like stink and the sound of the VR6 is beautiful. Roll on next week when I get back to the UK and can buy one :)

Quite a lot of people use Optimax and it gives noticable performance boost (and a bigger hole in your wallet)

Oh yes obviously all business and no trips to any coffee shops :D
-
That sounds like a pretty sweet deal :)

Getting all clever with the translation sites now eh? :D

 do you think they do house calls? :D

an hour a seat? You must like those seats, but then it's not like you're going to need to do it again after they're in. Lower is good :) As long as you're tall enough to see out ;) it helps if they're height adjustable though
-
Heh heh nobody does ;) Espeically if they're Astra seats I guess a re-trim won't be cheap though :( Did you have any trouble getting the Astra seats to fit in the C? I thought it was pretty tricky getting anything to fit due to the low seating position.

Those are pretty nice, I'm thinking about going for something like that. The alcantra and leather combo has to be the best combination of leather you can get though. It's leather AND you don't slide around all over the place/have to peel yourself off it :) How much did you manage to get those for? Have you got matching rears too?

I don't know anything about the turbo kits, but if you want to go for a supercharger kit, this one is highly recommended and it is supposed to bolt staight on without you needing to do any mods. http://www.c2motorsports.net/

Under-bonnet bling... they'll be putting 6 exhausts on them next :D

Reihemotor = Row motor

Yeah it looked awful, but it had this in the boot...

looks good man, have you got any before pics to demonstrate the Zymol effect?
-
Yeah I know, tell me about it. That yellow and blue interior with the dodgy paint job was def the coolest thing there tho 8)

No problem, I'm still on a buzz from the show at the weekend :D
-
 You didn't waste any time!

No idea on that one. Germany I guess  I'm sure google will hold the answer :D
