Yep, 2 centred on the face of the heatshield (didn't need to remove any shield) and the other kinda behind the header tank or the front of the blower motor . I did this 2 weeks ago. 2 came out 1 needed a dose of me Fein oscillator. Git of a job hey

Please excuse my ignorance, but what's required with gear linkages n'that? *ah, ignore that one. Didn't notice the gubbins in the pic Very interested.

Mine arrived yesterday :D Really happy with them. Just noticed further up the thread that the Audioscape pods have a little recess for the badge to sit in (my pods came without grilles, new grilles have no recess). I'm wondering if it'd be possible to modify the grilles a tad to accommodate it... can see the badge getting knocked off otherwise. Good work though, proparrr jarb!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VALEO-Heat-Exchanger-interior-heating-for-AUDI-VW-PASSAT-SEAT-SKODA-812031/311610925852?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D41397%26meid%3Dae11a3fc24fb4c80bfb021fa70105143%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D3%26sd%3D361901808154 Looks promising to me. I made a c0ck up by starting with the correct part number - 812031, but in trying to source the best deal on the bay I failed to notice the subtle part number difference to 812030. Pure bell piece, of that there is no doubt.

Thank you sooo much, cressa. Must admit, I was so p1ssed earlier that I committed the cardinal sin of not using the search function and going on the rampage. I'll get that sucker ordered up :]

Yeh I've just discovered that lovely little quirk. Basterd thing. Just cant seem to find a valeo one online anywhere. Planned to stick the mk4 rears and tarox on tomorrow but far too ockered naa

Thanks. I'll have word. Sh1t of a job then to discover that kinda topped it off :|

Just released my knackered matrix only to discover the new Valeo one has shorter spigots/different angles leading into the engine bay. Anyone experienced this? Anyway, after a decent one asap. Is Valeo the only one people trust? Numbers on the old one: 1H2 819 866 and 192819031 C. 94 VR. TIA

Thanks for that gaz, you've now just planted the seed for my next merlot infused ebay fix  Dunno really, it has caressed the ground a little (no one but whoever you run over would ever notice it) so erm, £60? It's all straight with no splits or owt. I went 70mm in the end.

Aye, I had this batsh1t idea to turn it into a reversing light because I'm going all red rears :drinking:

narh, just a few odds n sods my end mate. Nearest I've got for an abs lamp would be the 3rd brake light setup haha
-
Soz, thought it showed up on me profile. Aylesbury

Ah well. I've got one but I don't think even a penny black would cover the postage. If you're ever over this way gimme a shout if you don't get anywhere that is.

Picked mine up from SeanRodford on here. Really happy with it and he was really good to deal with.

That Rayne kit couldn't handle nightbreakers, kept blowing the inline fuse on full beam for me. Swapped it out for a 3 relayed loom and been laffin ever since. Just a heads up :)

My Tarox 6 pots only require a 3mm spacer on rx2s if that's any use... meaning they're still centred on the hub n'that.

So what actually explodes on the 02A box and drivetrain on a turbo? Is it always just the gearsets themselves, or diff rivets or driveshafts and whatever else as well? Just wondering what it'll take to get it truly reliable. I know the rivets will get replaced for ARPs, so is it just case of getting a semi-cut gearset (along with a good service of bearings n'that) and you're good to go for the long-term?

No way! What an absolute gent :D  - Indeed

Oh Easypops, I wish I had your cavalier spirit. I've LA9V'd the jiggery outta mine to borderline rice. Works for me, just... needs... that... cherry... on... top.
-
Yep, that's what I thought mate. Mine came with none *cries*. I bet they'll be quite tricky to do, is it worth having a run up? Like, I dunno, maybe make 3 and choose the best one..? But then you'll be lumbered with 2 I guess...

Audioscape logos you say..? :bounce2:

I'd set up a new thread personally, this being Vince's thread n'all. I made that boo-boo earlier
