its too late now, i went for the bbs in the end... lol
  3. you could even go for 195/40s if you fancied a bit of a stretch! would look awesome on a set of RCs!
  4. i have a very similar clunking sound, except its more like a "click" i can feel it through the pedals and wheel. only when stationary and turning left..???
  5. Nope its not running a CNC Cyl Head Ian :) ( i wish it was tho lol ) , its running a P&P big valve head. Spec copied from my gallery :- 1.8 PG Big Valve Cylinder Head PSD / G-werks Full Blend G60 Schrick 268/276 Cam 65mm toothed Pulley Red Tops FMIC H2o / Meth Injection Boost Return G-werks Remap G-werks S/S Manifold Vr6 1st / 2nd G-werks Exhaust System

    My Wheel Dilemma

I ve also been told these are as light if not lighter than the BBS wheels aswell, so i will just have to see, i am sure i will post up a few pics once they are on. :) They are also 3 piece as opposed to the LMs which are 2 piece..

    My Wheel Dilemma

Right i have a choice... I ve been trying to get hold of a set of 17" BBS LMs, which is proving quite difficult. Anyway ive been told that the BBS will take around a month to arrive now! And for the samish sorta price i can get a Set of Custom made 3 piece "WORK" rims made up.. any offset , dish , finish etc.. The WORK rims i have been shown are very very similar to the BBS LMs only they have a very very nice lip aswell. Was thinking 17 X 8" ET25 Fronts and 17" X 8.5 Et 15 Rears? 4X100 PCD aswell. Or maybe 17 X 7.5 Fronts Et25 & 17 X 8 ET15 Rears.. not sure?? These are the rims. bit more of a dish but you get the idea.. WORK VS-XX Question is, i dont know what to do now??? lol
  9. Has anyone got any pics of one of these fitted to a corrado? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=009&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=190086865832&rd=1&rd=1#ebayphotohosting Thought it may look like quite a nice mod for a dark coloured rado? was thinking of doing something similar and mount the number plate on sticky pads on the smoothed bit...?
  10. dont worry i am not going to fit one, i think the lysholms sound bloody awesome unsilenced!
  11. There seems to be a bit of a problem when fitting the silencer kits.. from what i can tell hardly any units have been known to fail without the silencer kit.. From what i have read its when the silncer kit is added is when people have started to have problems , something to do with the additional weight on the end of the charger and it twisting...?
  12. I should have mine on pretty soon, will post up a "proper" vid, as i am yet to find a decent vid of the lysholm properly in action... all ive seen / heard are people revviing the nuts off them whilst stationary... They are pretty loud compared to a standard G-lader when at higher revs.. but you have the added bonus that you can run silly boost and not be paranoid everytime you press the throttle pedal..lol If I had been keeping my G-lader i reckon i would have been getting it rebuilt once a year as i am running a 65mm pulley, so its nice to know that its not going to need much attention for a while and i can concentrate on other aspects of the car.
  13. You just cant beat the whine of a G60! I Luv it! Awesome cars!
  14. Age 20 with a skyline! must have been steep on the insurance...lol
  15. If only all TTs looked as good as this will look! cant wait for the finished result! Any Engine Mods Daz? (silly question really...lol) Or is it just the bodywork for now?
  16. yeh not far behind yours mate, when you finally finish it lol
  17. Pics will be up when i ve sorted out spacers for the rear, i want it sitting perfect before i show the car off lol.. may even run a bit of neg camber on the back for clearance lol Havent actually got the wheels yet, but hopefully shouldnt be too long.. I know ive had a million sets fo wheels now, these will stay.. believe me..lol Pic taken from Edition 38 Forum.. The wheels are the same tho.
  18. Mate, i have already expressed to you how much i love this car! its F**kin awesome man! Great work! need to sort out the black tape on the rear tho mate..lol :)
  19. Now why am i not suprised they didnt change change the oil seals...thats just a joke really...when you pay for a rebuild you expect to get one not half a job..still we all know not to go to jabba anyway lol
  20. That would have come straight off no trouble with a Bearing Puller lol :D
  21. Your probably better off putting an eaton charger (mini cooper supercharger) in the G40s tbh mate, it will be cheaper in the long run..? the G40s tend to rev up very quickly... the G60 chargers dont like that too much... Contact Steve at Pitsop Developments, he does a bolt on kit i believe for the eaton charger. Eaton chargers can be bought relatively cheap aswell.. quite a nice mod! http://www.pitstopdevelopments.co.uk/
  22. Just thought with that setup in a MK2 that it would easily walk over me? with it not weighing as much as the rado?? i ve never really been up against something like that, so was quite interesting for me...lol :)
