The symptoms you have just described about the ISV is exactly the symptoms i have jim!! almost identical! it doesnt always play up, just occasionally. As for the BTS i am just gunna bin it and get VAG item.. :D Anyone got the VAG part number??

hmmm.. yeah thats what i thought... gotta be something like that.. the dizzy and arm are new.. the only thing that isnt that new is the leads which are maybe 18 months old now... they are the GSF Beru items.. I just started the car again just now to see if i could pin point anything.. one thing i did notice is that it seems to be over fueling on startup? i can smell the distinct smell of petrol for the first for seconds.. this should surely point towards the BTS??

I have started to have a problem with the rado, i have noticed that on cold startup occasionally it sounds as if its running on 2 cylinders for around 5 - 10 seconds.. runs really rough.. then goes away. Also when driving home last night it cut out on my 3 times, it only seems to cut out completely when the revs are dropping down to idle or at low revs.. almost as if it was stalling when pulling away etc.. I am just wondering if the problem lies with maybe a broken ISV.. ( its been cleaned a few times now) The BTS i have is from Euro car parts, so this maybe faulty aswell..? Another thing is that when its Raining i have noticed that the car doesnt idle as well as it does when its dry conditions...?? (750 - 800rpm in the wet & 850 - 900rpm in the dry conditions??) Could it be that all this is linked with one problem?? i wanna catch this problem before it starts to be a real pain in the backside..

is it just a straight swap, or is there bodging required to fit? :)

What pistons did you use in the end dan? did you go for forged items? Should be a monster when its done gotta be alteast 300 bhp!!!??!!

Had a quick peek at this when i picked up my sunroof mech last week.. have to say the Pics dont do the Powder coat finish any justice! the finish is almost chrome effect! looks very nice.. :D

yeah the aquamist is the better system, it depends how much you wanna spend Dan.

depends how advanced you want it ?? if you want it to just turn on at full throttle then the kit i have on mine is fine... The aquamist kits are better if you want a more advanced system.. ie mapping the water injection run along side the the cars ecu so that it adjusts pressure etc parrallel to revs etc and stuff like that

there is a kit for sale at the moment mate, in the for sale section.. its not aquamist, buts its the same kit that i run.. and works very well Comes on when you want it... ie at full boost and you can wire in a switch to turn it off if you want

Looks like i will have to ring up Elephant and see who they use for windscreen cover.. or can i specify a company..? Ideally i will take it to the portsmouth RAC windscreen branch and have it doen there if i can...

where abouts did you get all the P21s stuff from G60greeny?? Is that a kit? what does it consist of? Defo thinking about going back to using the P21s wax It works very well indeed!

I have just started to notice that i can feel i "click" type sound / sensation through the pedals when i turn the wheel to the left.. its not noticable whilst moving tho.. only when i turn the wheel whilst stationary (engine on) any ideas? i thought it maybe could be the rack as i am approaching 100k now but could it be something else like ball joints??

just get an "Elring" Corrado G60 Gasket set from GSF... they seem to do the job nicely i fitted an Elring Gasket about 15000 miles ago and touch wood thats been fine!

Like others have said, i heard a BBM for the first time at the G-werks open day... and they are no where near as loud as that one in the video! I have plans to fit one in the new year when my current Glader is due for a rebuild and I personally cant wait to have something a little more reliable than the G60 unit, should be fairly nice with a small pulley too... :D Just gotta start doing a load of overtime at work so i can pay for it lol... Infact this video shows how quite it is in the car...

yeah the middle bits are painted in a matt black colour, they looked pretty good in the sig pic... but after a few months the yellow has faded and doesnt looked as good anymore so i may need to do them again.. The Yellow spots Definatley suit the darker cars tho... :)
