I would say ET30 on the front riley, you can always space them out 5mm etc... to make them Et25 that coupled with a Et15 on the rear it will look awesome..
-

Does anybody know of a really "high power" / "Bright" silver finish? I need a paint code so i can get some mixed up so i can do some spraying... I just wondered if anybody on here had used such a colour, and could remember the code?? The Porsche Colour Diamond Silver Metallic is looking like a promising one too ..?

Personally i prefer the fold up seat at the top of the post... lol Nah its looking superb mate!
-
well i havent lost any money in selling them on.. in fact i have probably made money... Got them cheap and in need of a refurb, refurbed them myself ... :) I guess its just one of those things.. Interior is looking awesome aswell griff!! 8)

How good does it look on the porka rims!!!!!
-
Yeah i have to agree aswell the look was just not the same on the RSs compared to the D90s... dont get me wrong i luv the split rims but they are also a bitch to keep clean... ohwell, due to the sale of the splits i am now able to put the money towards a set of very special brakes...hey Darren :D
-
S**t load of work to get one in tho...? Would look the bollocks tho! 8)
-
Just finished my rear lights... You can just make out the masking tape lines on the reverse light. and indicator. looks kinda cool! this also means i will have a set of smoked crystal rear lights for sale pretty soon aswell... 8) I have also fitted my D90s back on.. luv the aggresive look it gives the car, and i ve sold the RSs... thinking of detailing the D90s similar to this MIVW Mk2 Golf in this pic.. love this car!

Bung in a 2L bottom out out of a Rado... 9A engine i think... that will give it a bit more power and torqe.. approx 180bhp ish??
-
Thanks henny! I have checked / changed everything on the car over the last 6 months... Its going in again on saturday for remap again, steve @ darren are going to start from scratch as it can only be the engine map now.. everything is doing what it should be... Its probably just a case of taking timing out in the map, its running 15psi in its current setup with the BVH and 65mm pulley etc so it maybe that backing the cam of a little to reduce boost pressure may also help, i had being doing a little research... the higher the boost you run the less timing advance you can get away with afaik?? it might very well respond better to a custom remap with slightly lower pressure if i retard the cam a few degrees...?

Is it possible a faulty Hall sender could send a inaccurate signal to the ECU and cause engine Knock (pinking) ??
-
Yeah it should be fine... I ve done mine a few times... ( Not a 16v a g60 ) just be careful.. If you have access to an air compressor use compressed air to blow off all the water afterwards this will remove most of the water from the engine bay and stop it seeping into electrical parts..

Ive taking my ally H&R adapters down to 19mm (orig 25mm) and had no problems so far... if you have ally adapters i would also be tempted to helicoil the thread so that you dont strip the threads on the thinner material... 5mm may not sound like alot but the difference is more obvious when the wheels are on the car and it makes quite a bit of difference to the look if done correcty.
