Phil K, I don't know the answer to your question, but this is the same setup I am planning to install. I have Infinity 6x9s powered by Kenwood HU on an MDF shelf from Auto Acoustics and think even by themselves, they rock. What I need is to be able to add the low oomph to the bass and am hoping the Basslink will handle this just fine. I think I paid £160 for mine It's even cheaper now!! --> Basslink from Car Audio & Security. Cheers, Rica

Group Buy. Corrado Polished Stainless Bonnet Lifters

Undoubtedly, You've all seen the other thread running alongside. Clicky Over there, it says the INXX lifters only fit early style bonnets... As I said, they would be nice, but don't want to buy something that's not going to fit outright Cheers, Rica -
Group Buy. Corrado Polished Stainless Bonnet Lifters
Ka` replied to JasonSanders's topic in General Car Chat
Hello, JasonSanders, where are you getting them from? I looked into this a while ago and almost bought myself a set, but the owner of the shop said that his friend's C had suffered a lot from these lifters. Things like they came open with such a force that it was constantly ripping the mountings. And of course, other rumours I've heard is that supposedly some of the bonnets will have 'holes' in the right places for the mountings, but that a VR owner has to drill  I've tried asking around newsgroups for anyone who actually has these lifters, but no one's has admitted to it yet  I left them at that after all these horrible news, but I'd still love a set! So if you could supply a little bit more info, I'll scribble an 'x' on the dotted line :) My OE support is rusty and seems to be bending out of shape slowly :? Cheers, Rica -
And I think the newer Basslink Xs are clear blacks now. I must've gotten my Basslink from the same place as well, I am looking at a 360W Autoleads kit :) Cheers, Rica

Joe M, Didn't read it properly, thanks Rica

jims16v, *lol* I see you've wired your 6x9s the same way as I have! I take it they're using the OE cables :) I am going to pull some 'proper' cable through when I rip the insides out. I didn't imagine that the Basslink takes as much space as it seems to in your pics.. And how is it bolted to the floor? Did you just drill in to the body, or have you some sort of piece of MDF/whatever you bolted the screws onto? Cheers in advance, Rica

Hi, I'll add a kink to your statistics. On my street, there are TWO Corrados, the owners live next to each other and both these owners are WOMEN  How's that for a concentration of minority? 8) Cheers, Rica (I am one of the owners :))

Bolster, Good. They haven't ballsed anything up with my car, and the work I had done by them was always good. What has pissed me off is the constant cancellations, ordering of wrong parts and then blaming it on someone else. I've been waiting for a bloody hose for a month now. They call me to say the hose is in, I book a time, they check the hose day before, discover it's the incorrect part, don't bother calling me until the NEXT DAY.... AFTER I've organised a day off work!! AAAAAARGH! Thanks, feel better now Rica

Right, I'll take it all back now. As soon as I recommended them, the garage has been giving me nothing but trouble! I'll try Wayside in St. Albans, can anyone say whether it's good or not? Cheers, Rica

Peeps, I wonder if you could help. As much as I admire the massive lump I have in the engine bay, I don't know much about it... Is this my headgasket telling me it's time to call quits? This little black rubbery half a moon thing is constantly weeping black substance that doesn't smell. The reason why I am bringing this up, is because I've had the odd whiff of petrol while driving for a couple of days now. I managed to locate the fuel rail and checked the pipes going in and coming out of it. The pipes seem fine and the clips/retainers are tight. Also, the smell of petrol seems to be coming from further back. Anyways, any thoughts to calm my beating heart? Cheers, Rica
-
PhatVR6, So, how much would the discounted prices for different engines be? Where can I find this info? Cheers, Rica
-
Heya, I don't want to sound dumb, but what exactly am I looking for? I get a whiff of petrol every now and then, and I've seen a clear fuel pipe mentioned... Am trying to see what pipe I should try to trim... Can anyone supply a picture within an hour? Help GREATLY appreciated! Am waiting for the engine to cool down atm, and will prime the pump and so on when I have someone to look in the engine bay when I start the engine. UPDATE: Don't worry about this one, have found the relevant pipes. Cheers, Rica
-
DelCorrado, It seems to vary, some deny all knowledge of this discount, others are fine with it. Always worth a try, worst they can do is say 'no'. Cheers, Rica

Kev and everyone else, They are In.Pros, bought them from Venom Motorsport And yes, the description of the pic says that the boot's open, ARGH! Cheers, Rica

Hi Eug, Don't know whether this helps, and whether I've been told a load of bull, but the garage I went to, said that it's the breather hose from your fuel tank... Mine's split as well, but I haven't had the problems you've had. I want it replaced anyway, it's repaired with just electrian's tape atm, and everything's a-ok. Cheers, Rica
-
Thank you very much boys, I'll drive around for a while, get used to them and then decide :) Cheers, Rica

Hi, I know the light is not the nicest, I was taking pictures as I went along... If I used flash, the reflectors got in the way. Mine's Dragon Green. Looking for a slightly better pic Cheers, Rica
-
People, My poor attempt of proving I am worth such a car :) First, the In.Pro dilemma Cheers, Rica
-
jims16v, Thanks for that... Am not good with imagination of what it looks like mounted Cheers, Rica

Chris, Since you've changed your bulbs, do you think the LED clusters I was thinking about buying will do the same 'one direction' beam? I've read about this, and there are some places who claim to be selling LEDs with wider arcs on them. And yes, I haven't actually ordered those lights yet as I thought they won't go through the OE clusters. I've bought In.Pros and was going to try to fit the bulbs through the holes in them. Rica
-
Hello, I am going to swap my lights with these LED clusters from Speeding. I don't actually know how good the stop & tail or the indicators are, but I've bought the ultra bright quad LEDs for my side indicators and I am impressed. I wouldn't say that they were that much brighter than the original bulbs, but I am happy with the smartness of it. No trailing, lazy light. Maybe I am just crazy and think they look different :-P There are other places as well, but can't remember their URLs atm. Yes, you do take the risk of running without E-marks, but that's a bridge I'll cross when I come to it. Cheers, Rica

Hello there, Could someone supply me some pictures of where and how the Infinity Basslink is mounted? Have you drilled into to the boot floor to secure the unit with the screws? Any help appreciated Cheers, Rica
-
Torino, Huge discussion HERE. :D Cheers, Rica
