  1. Yeah, I'll see whether I can extract it from the TiVo, just for a minute's worth of fun. It was funny how while accelerating to the mighty speed of maybe two miles an hour on his drive, he was desperately pressing the spoiler up button at the same time. *lol* Cheers, Rica
  2. Is that then 82 yo gentleman with a 16v among us? Just watching the TV program, he can't drive further than his own drive :D Cheers, Rica

    Wet Carpet!

Heya, Look at Corvr6's post on page 4, about halfway down. He's done a good job on explaining things. I fixed mine with his instructions. Lots of clear pictures as well. Cheers, Rica
  4. I wonder what it'll look like with back-lit gauges... Won't it be too dark if there's no light shining on them? Awesome otherwise :D Cheers, Rica
  5. Heya, Well, done it now :) Haven't taken her for a drive yet, though. Any news on the shields? Just curious :D Cheers, Rica

    cheap mod

Right, I haven't actually looked inside the CC yet, so don't know what kind of filter is inside... so bear with me. What's doing your filtering? Any pictures? Cheers, Rica
  7. People who use Zymol, I use Mequiars myself and have so far been very happy with it, but I have one niggle. I wash and wax it about once a week when the winter's over, it's nice and shiney but not for long enough :( Halfway through the week driving on roads, the C looks like I haven't cleaned it for ages, making me ashamed of the state. Yeah, I can always clean it again (if I had the time) but then I'd have to wax it again during the week! Is Zymol any better at keeping up appearances? Could I at least just wash and dry the C during the week and it'd still look waxed? Or should I just stick with what I've got? Thanks for input, Cheers, Rica
  8. kevhaywire, I'd say I am perfectly happy with my side indicators, even in the daylight. Each to their own :D Cheers, Rica
  9. DEL VR6, I bought my LEDs from Speeding. They don't seem to sell them anymore. As Supercharged said,--> UltraLEDS site Cheers, Rica

    VR6 Wheel offset

    I'm looking at the manual, for original wheels: VR6: 205/50 R 15 86 V On Wheel: 6 1/2 J x 15 ET 43 Cheers, Rica
  11. Bolster, Heh, put my car in at Wayside for a strong petrol smell. I got it back with two of the three headlight screws missing from the units, the OE light loom was not clipped back to where it should've been AND my passenger side light was actually unplugged! Now, I KNOW I am probably coming down a little hard on them, but I've been screwed around so many times, I start with an attitude. At least they took £100 off the final bill, so that's good. Chapman's. Yes, they're good, but the problem I also had is that they never bother telling you they can't take your car in, except on that day! I've lost two working days by taking time off. So, I can't put up with the agro. kangarooboy, yes, I've heard about them as well.. I'll have to make the effort of driving over there and trying them instead. Thanks for that. Cheers, Rica
  12. I'll have one as well! I haven't fitted my K&N yet :) Cheers, Rica
  13. Evening, I'll definitely be interested in buying a ready made product daves16v, if you're still making them. Me and any metal, we don't go together :) Cheers, Rica
  14. A green Storm, M *** CLL or something. Heading down A405 at about 9:30 this morning. Wash your car! Cheers, Rica
  15. Deutsche Performance? Cheers, Rica
  16. Anyways, Here are mine. I bought the frosted clear indicators, 'cause I thought they would look better on the green body. Besides, it looks rather OE :) I took the normal bulb out and replaced it with an ultrabright quad LED. Cheers, Rica
  17. Hey, I bought some clear indicators from Venom, they just slot in as before. I changed the bulb to an LED one, like the crisp light, and don't have to spend money on Silvatecs and others like that. Cheers, Rica
  18. Phil K, There's always Let's Buy Caraudio. They're offering the Pioneer for the same price as CarAudioDirect are + £10 for delivery. I am just adding this URL for future reference, as I got my Infinitys and my Kenwood HU from them for significantly less than anyone else could offer at that time. I know their layout and looks aren't the best, but they usually are doing some really good deals. The Pioneer looks classy, hope it sounds nice as well :) Cheers, Rica
  19. Jedi, They're 38. Needs 43 at the front, doesn't it? Cheers, Rica
  20. Jedi, Well, the typical calliper problem. I've found spacers, now am waiting for extended bolts. The security ones seem to be causing Demon Tweeks some sourcing problems. The black VR6 is my neighbour's. Another lady owner :) Cheers, Rica
  21. Doesn't it just warm your relevant parts when you wake up, look outside, and get greeted with this? :luvlove: Cheers, Rica
  22. Hi, If we're still gauging just interest, I'd like to jot my name down for a cat back for a VR Cheers, Rica
  23. Hello, I take it that the LEDs are concealed enough so that they don't make your various garments glow ominously! And if they are, that would make my worry of the UV light drying contact lenses to a crisp go away as well. Mind you, this would happen over a LONG period of time, from such a small light source :) Cheers, Rica Looking good Henny! Andi, can we still have black by day, black by night dials? Am too lazy to scroll
  24. About 3ish in the afternoon today, Black G60, H 495 ***, had a quick look whilst driving past. It's the first one I've seen in Harrow. Rica
