  1. wait, just looked more closely, so he/she hit the barrier on the other side of the bridge where its crushed and jumped the irrigation ditch/bridge??!?!?
  2. lets hope no one go out of the passenger side....
  3. new TiTty has an active spolier too...... on firsts, what about the supposed 'traction control' where the brakes apply slightly if front wheels slip...?
  4. slammed the door without noticing the seatbelt was in the gap, now got a dented scratch to show for it... Roger  might have brightened up an otherwise gloomy day for a few people though...
  5. Second that, only thing is they should be available in 16x7 then i'd be happy... but theres only a few sets in existence in that size due to being made for motorsport only or summat.
  6. Legend... If only the Governments Road Safety policy made as much sense....
  7. sounds like he didn't take it over 4000rpm then IMO....
  8. This is getting stupid... :x Had two cars keyed on our drive way this year, first was a corsa hire car (no worries except £400 excess) and now this weekend, my flatmates TT has been keyed quite deeply on drivers side... only other car is the Rado and praying that gets left alone.... Kind of convinced its the kids that live nearby as this has also happened to neighbours.... Looking at geting an old PC setup downstairs with a webcam to try and catch people in the act (although hope this doesn't happen again) then can get police involved, or find the cuprits and apply some boltcutters to their beanbags... anyone know of decent software thats going to let me record stuff to a harddisk via webcam....

just about to flush system and refill going by this: http://mysite.verizon.net/janvdb/vw/Engine/g11_g12.html at the moment, got clean stuff running into expansion tank, but the contents of the expansion tank is a swamp....
  11. 27, astra 1.3 astra 1.6 fiesta 1.1 (gained 9 points on my licence while driving this) escort 1.3 MK2 golf Gti 8v Corrado VR6
  12. strangest would be: "is that the car from 'Back to the Future'...." :2gunfire:
  13. wicked... good find mate... Love the intro music.. Didn't know the Ferrari Enzo was actually a Ferrari Enzo Ferrari lol..
  14. Surrounded by nice cars all day, and then they finally let you drive them... what a crap job you have... jealousy.... :)
  15. Theres two that I see reasonably regular in my area that don't wave back, guy in a blue vr (i also know where you live) and some old guy in a black one (think its a 16v)... get waves from people in stuff like mk1 or mk2 golfs occasionally though...
  16. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-3573124479659719523&q=ford+gt Yeah, i know its a Ford, and the GT is extremely unreliable... but wow.... lot of money and work gone into creating a mental car....
  17. can't see the sale of it coming up, still got standard speedline alloys that i i'd like to replace, still yet to get the money to fit a supercharger to compliment the VR6 noise, sure there plenty more to do, and the sound of the VR6 is still keeping me happy.. (secret is def to have a slower daily driver, making the rado a treat at the weekends) if I sell it will be for a porsche or summat, but something about corrado that makes me want to keep.... def decisions decisions, and always seems to come back to a reluctance to part with it.... :)
  18. just rear ARB??? so the one fitted on the front is fine already then?!
  19. bit of what could be taken for a dumb question this... want to adjust the handbrake cables as the handbrake is just a bit inefficient at the mo... cant get the handle off to slide the gaiter off etc.. there seems to be a little plastic tab underneath at the back, but this doesnt allow it to come off, and as its a leather handle and therefore nice, dont want to damage it... how should it come off?!
  20. nice one phil, after the group buy on mats went under, kinda forgotten about replacing the LEX hirecar mats in there currently.... what colour are you looking at getting etc. really need to get new mats...
  21. dirty, sorry didn't see this earlier, off to Cologne on monday for a week, driving over in a van too...
  22. Designer went for a curvy Panda?? Meriva?
  23. Blimey, must be gutting for that to happen.... although, I would have tried to write that Peugeot off as quickly as possible too...
  24. not under a cover that goes around the gearstick then?
  25. Was a little worried about getting a LHD myself, but dont have any issues when i'm driving, position on road, gearchange etc. fine.. but i do have a habit of walking up to the wrong side of the car sometimes which can be a little embarrassing... And there def is a novelty factor as Tempest says to driving LHD in UK... The issue with going from right to left and vice versa is no big deal, drive RHD company vehicles all the time and only occasionally have a 'little' moment hitting doorcards when i first get in corrado if not driven it for a while...... parts wise, the lupo wipers came from a VW dealership in belgium and worked out cheaper by a few quid than UK, everthing else has been from GSF or scrappy.... Oh, and you need a 'grabber' or passenger for toll booths and car parks... ;)
