in a word,yep. edit:can go too far each way,but there is a point upto which the handling can be improved in certain areas,also depending on other factors. eg:increasing the track by a fair amount can give you a stable car on fast sweeping corners,but yet tight bends may become understeery. neil. :D

:lol: thanks ian 8) is the crank from a passat/9a ? 92.8mm? little unsure about sleeves over the gudgeon pins...i know if done correctly then it should be ok,but imo its another area to wear and cause possible problems. i may be missing something here but,whats the reason that the pistons weren't g60 specific ian? to fit the rods? and with the longer throw crank,were the pistons modified for valve clearance at all? could someone just throw up the standard g60 rod/crank/bore/stroke specs? would help me to get my head around things a little i reckon... cheers so far! :D neil.

thanks guys :D im struggling to get things done on it now,i have some plans im gagging to crack on with,need to sell the sportline to fund em though... :( i stripped the paint off the headlights and reapplied it but with 2 coats this time,looks better i think :)

yeah possibly m8,depending on where the problem lies obviously... pretty sure it will run to the fuse box before going to the clocks? dosn't run through a fuse does it? :? any info/pics would be appreciated :D its to sort my mates sleeper 5 door mk2 8) !

ok,just had a look about and seems that the vento could either have 239's or 256's... if 256's its just a case of bolting up the G60 carrier and caliper i think? just found out the vento is a 98 model also. cheers,neil.

Whats involved here? G60 brakes onto a 4 stud vento? am i right in thinking that the vento (tdi btw) is on 239 set up? so therefor needs the G60 hubs as well as the obvious calipers? anything else? cheers,neil. :)

chromy business 8) My tints are rear only,they were on the car when i got it and they are weird. :? i cant find an end to the tint film (if it is film) and im sure there are little vw signs in it :? (not the glass ones either although,may have been drinking) edit:sh|te pics :roll:

Stripped all the yellow paint off my headlights and applied two new coats,forgot to get pics though! looks better being a bit darker now :D
