  1. hows about on the g60's anyone? i think my compensator went on holiday when i lowered the car  rear brakes are not doing anything at all! :?
  2. sounds as though the little metal linkage has broken that attatches to the latch via a plastic shrouding. they are a bit of a fecker to work with being in a tight space too :( and! maybe your door handle(exterior) is broken too! neil.
  3. may have missed something earlier in the thread but, is the wiring/connector plug to the lambda probe all good? its down under the brake servo. also, you havent got a fuel leak anywhere have ya? pipes to and from the injector rail via the fuel pressure regulator (fpr) also, dont know if anyone else has had this, but one of my fuel lines running under the car was leaking, and it seemed as though the engine was running rich with the way the smell was floating about. neil. :)
  4. the caps do match the cam in a way,all will have very tight/diffarent tolerances depending on all sorts...oil changes/how its been driven over the years etc etc... but as bluejoe says, the main and most important tolerances are of the cap to head sizes. was wondering about taking the cam and all caps from your old engine...may be more risky than using just the one from your old engine though. the correct way to go about it is to get the plastigauge on the job and have a cap machined. neil.
  5. cheers guys :D neil.
  6. not keen me self, think chrome looking fogs/indicaters and headlights are too modern looking for a rado... a few more pics could tell me otherwise though :-P
  7. may be a worn slave cylinder? its bolted to the gearbox. a quick check is to make sure the circlip is still on the gear lever under the gaitor pictured here although it sounds as though its something else on yours. in fact mines hard to get out of reverse sometimes, must investigate... neil.
  8. more commonly a sign of a knackered/warped disc. possibly? abs related, though im not too experienced with abs. neil.
  9. bottom pic is fine :) you are missing a cap in the one above it though :( and the cap should match the cam really feckin ebay idiots...
  10. another konigsport runner here :) had them on for a while now,and been very happy with them. ride is very good to say im running 195/45's on 8x16's all round. i have seen/heard a few stories about the life expectancy of em...but a few days ago i went to drop it some more :-P and with a bit of wd40 on a rag,the protective spray wiped off to reveal the coilovers still looking as new 8) although ive lost a c spanner, and one wouldnt undo them. so not sure if they are seized or just need cracking loose with 2 c spanners. suppose the better option is the konigsport silverline if they are still available? neil.
  11. sounds about right 8) just wondering about the shocks as furkz says... should be the same amount of space i think? unless running silly negative camber? definately best to try em out as said,im sure you know that :-)
  12. im running 8x16's on the front with an et of 27.2,and on full lock its pretty close inner wing/wheel wise. may give you sommet to go on... sure there's some running 9's anyway though 8) edit:im sure et15 is the norm with 9's. ^^all based on standard track!
  13. some well placed holes in the airbox can help, best on the inner wing side or in the bottom. the wur mod (warm up regulator) is common, enrichens the fuel mixture throughout the rpm range. best done by someone who knows vw's and on a rolling road. :) my fave mod so far is my gear change lights :) im not gonna say the charger and wotnot because its still way too slow :(
  14. sounds well worth looking into 8) otherwise, 1 bolt either end,2 nuts in the scuttle area, and one self tapper behind the clocks. its a case of strip the dash, and disconnect the switches etc,and remove the above. :) neil.

    Which Wheels ?

some very nice abt's here... not sure if the guy has sold em yet, would look awesome on any corrado imo 8)
  16. one phillips screw either side m8 :) see the first pic here... neil.
  17. its behind the drivers side rear 1/4 card m8 :) those mechanisms can be a fecker to get out  quite a few rivets to drill out which is ok,but its just getting the thing out the door! sort of needs bringing out sideways after removing the glass from the regulater. neil.
  18. gti international 8) neil.

    which 6x4's

i have these jbl's in the shelf sides, happy enough with them :) required some cutting, although the original speaker and holder will still go back in exactly as before... pics just to show whats involved. neil.
  21. easy is always good 8) neil.

    Which Wheels ?

speedlines just edge it for me 8)
  23. im pretty sure that originally there is a metal plate that allows the use of the self tapping style bolts (no nuts needed then) but sounds like nuts/bolts are fine anyway from what ']['H3R4POR is sayin 8) edit:jesus i was slow typing that!
  24. reminds me! i need to set the time on the clock   i wouldn't dare say m8  cheers guys.
  25. good work m8! 8) was definately worth saving! keep up the goodness. neil. :)
