6x9's? greeny? you mean the 6x4's? :oops: nah,i like the early dash,the sliders remind me of the mk1 :lol: just not keen on the round heater control knobs on the late dash. was good,allowed me to really tidy wiring up/reroute stero/afr wiring into original clips etc my 6x4's wouldnt go in without mods,not too much feckin about though! oh and the original speakers will go straight back in and secure correctly! :D neil.

is the vr offset 45? if it is you will have wheel arch problems rather than inner clearance problems...if any at all that is. not sure on exact clearances though sorry m8. but they will be sat out of the arch more.(if the vr offset is 45) neil. :)

as always,not a massively original or over exciting update but... i threw the black dash in along with handbrake surround etc... just need to sort the dash shelves/carpet/front seats and my rear shelf now :)

phill,is that an integral brake light? think that means the tailgate is from an american spec car,maybe diffarent? how does everything else line up? spoiler line up with tailgate edges? tail lights line up? i cant imagine the rear wings have been pushed out though? neil.

all i can say is... it would be so boring if everyone had a totally standard motor :-P although i can really enjoy/appreciate concours standard examples. 8) neil.

mrbeige,is that the latest c ever with an early interior? 8) so,have i got this right... my car has early interior with late boot carpets/strut carpets due to having late exterior/15g tank? :? so would any late boot carpets fit? say from late 93 onwards? Thats a Duo Style air fuel ratio gauge, with (as far as I remember) a voltage gauge combined into it, I have the earlier AFR only one in my Polo. yep,but i dont like to talk about it too much... :lol: if you are wondering why,it cost me 100's trying to sort a problem that this thing caused :roll: neil.

£60 :( i paid £150 for front/rears a couple years back,and that was off a mate! its weird sh1t,£60 yet theres a pair of door cards in the classifieds for £50 :? any idea on the lot? neil.

managed a bit more today... :) although the black boot carpets dont feckin fit :mad: before: half way through:mess! had to modify my parcel side sections to take the 6x4's like i did with the grey ones... :!: nearly done! :D nice oem look 8) and after a bit of fecking about,seats/rear cards/trim/front trim over doors/parcel shelf sides swapped over :D need to cover my silly shelf again to match,and then think about the front seats/carpet/dash :shock: ps:anyone got one of the metal plates that sits behind the grab handle above the door? crap pic,but shows the nice black front door cards/rears etc,and silly shelf neil.

today ive been on with swapping bits of my interior from grey to black. the parts are coming from a j registered 91 car into my j registered 92 car. when i came to swap the boot side carpet,the 91 ones wouldnt fit :? totally diffarent shape...so then i went and looked at the boot floors. in my 92 the boot floor is flat at the sides,but yet in the 91 its not,sorta drops down at either side :? is this part of the early/late thing? another strange one... when i was swapping the trim that runs over the doors,the trim from the 91 car has a grab handle on each side,where as my 92 only had the one on the passenger side :? wtf? also,the new (91) trim didn't have the holes punched through for the one screw that secures these trims...weird :? sorry,just thought id see what anyone else has? and now ive got a feeling im gonna struggle to find the black boot carpets to fit :( and its a fecker because ill have to remove the rear trim again just to fit it :twisted: neil.

£30 :? good mk1 gti seats go for more than that! and i sold a rear bench on its own for £50 last year! edit:ive even seen the gear lever surrounds sell for £40! maybe on the expensive side like,but id say they normally go for the £25 quid mark...

...pics.can anyone stick a value on my tidy early grey interior please? minus dash/carpet/parcel shelf. The door cards are good,no broken clips on the speaker grills or anything. Seats are good,very slight rubbing on the drivers bolster/not really holed,rears are v good. Gear lever surround. Full handbrake surround/unbroken. Side trims where seat belts bolt too. Rear cards. Parcel shelf side sections,very well modifiied to take 6x4 speakers or the originals. Boot lid trims and carpet. Other little bits and bats... was going to ask £160 for the seats alone,but whats it all worth together? when ive priced bits up individually it soon mounts up. cheers,neil. :)

how much will i be paying for good speaker grills and a good carpet? if its silly money ill paint the grey grills and dye the feckin carpet :lol:
