really ian? :( i popped in the other day and he brought a few out, just werent sure if they were right or not,he didnt seem to know what he was looking for. im off over there now so ill report back later

aye, firstly id make sure the dipstick top is on correctly and check the oil level as henny suggests. i thought looking at your 2 pics that 1 showed the old snapped one and the other showed the newly fitted one which looks ok,or has it pushed on too far? the 2 slots on the dipstick top should be at the bottom, and you will feel it click on. any pressure in the crankcase wont be anything to do with low oil pressure, its about the pressure in the oil ways and crank journals etc... :( after checking the above, double check all the wiring is clean and still attatched. if its intermittent,it could possibly be a dodgy sender as someone else said or a break in the wiring/or dodgy clocks. the way to test this is to,put the wire for 1 sender at a time to earth,if the flashing continues then theres a wiring fault somewhere. henny or someone can hopefully confirm which wires are which. worth a pressure test just for piece of mind too.

anyone confirm? may be shooting to my local gsf shortly! :D

 cheers ian.

cheers ian,does £50 sound right?

c'mon guys,i know theres only £15 difference but money is tight, very tight! ive searched/asked in another topic, and had no reply...

you have to push them pretty hard/evenly as they can break easily again! if i were you m8 id be having the oil pressure checked at a local garage! its either low oil pressure, not good-dead engine soon! or an electrical fault, pretty common, check that all wires to the senders around the engine are clean and good. check the earths too,to the head/gearbox etc. i did a how to,on changing an oil pump here is it doing it all the time or just above 2k rpm?

guys,i read somewhere on here that you could buy bosch ones from gsf,i tried my local place and they said they cant get them :? is there a specific gsf outlet that does sell them? think they were £50? or shall i just go for the one in the classifieds at £65 delivered? neil.

im pretty sure gsf should be able to offer oe quality ones, they normally offer a couple of of options. ive used gsf pumps in the past with no probs.

i think the key word here is 'considered' no matter how much people try to say 'the right thing' your not gonna change the way of the world. the human race will always consider things to be >what ever they consider them to be i have a cab,its considered a hairdressers car,do i give i tend to agree with the masses  but now i know the good and bad points of them,as for corrado's they seriously havent impressed me but i wouldnt say they were a puffs car. i dont see anything about them that would/could suggest it :?
-
cool, thanks m8. think im right in saying he uses the forum then? 16vg60? got a feeling he's gonna be miles away from me though, north west?
-
aye, think ive seen that m8. wicked idea if you can find a badly front smashed corrado!
-
no probs ian,thanks m8.

Since when the hell did your sexual preference have any relevence to what you do / don't deserve to own?! i knew people would jump on that. it was said as a joke,or to stress what such a hard looking rado the guy has. and no,i dont like queers/gays whatever you wish to call them, and no one will ever change my views. anyway, the corrado is being called a gay car, back on topic???
-
wouldnt be a problem, but saying that the corrado is a puffs car is a bit ott me thinks.
