im not really sure m8 :roll: i dont know weather the reading should stay similar or not,mine was all over the place like... 0.6 - 0.2 - 0.8 - 0.1 - 0.7 just thought it might of been more like... 0.5 - 0.6 - 0.5,a bit more stable like :? neil.

ok i tested it, it was reading from 0.019 to 0.899,is that ok? it was a diffarent reading every second between the above numbers. henny,any more details on the bosch one? price etc? neil. :)

i need a multimeter first :( do i just put it on voltage? yep im pretty sure thats the case m8,and we are looking for a cycle of 0.2 volt to 0.8 volt or so ive read. :) put one probe to earth and the testing probe to the signal wire (black on mine) im gonna test it at dinner time 8) neil.

what does it mean if the revs rise when its disconnected? :( thought they were meant to drop? the co is bang on 0.5% on a machine,and i just replaced the bts with a new one and still does the same. sorry for jumping on ya topic m8,neil.

is it definately a misfire m8? or more a loss of power above that rpm? did you change the cams over? or swap a full head/cams etc? dunno what to suggest really? maybe a compression test could show something up? neil. :(

most vw's have the parking light feature,but the intermittent wiper is only on the corrado's (late) as far as i know,cool little feature 8) that baffled me at first too. as said though can be sorted by swapping a relay :D

8) thanks again gavin,lysholm i wish potatonet? :lol: ive been driving it today :oops: all seems ok for now,but on tickover it made the knocking noise again twice,and the power is still intermittent. :( so im definately gonna have to sort the charger,i was just wondering how much of a gain there is between standard and full blend,its a couple hundred quid difference but i suppose the rsr outlet kit costs about £100 of that ??? would a new oil feed pipe be a good idea at the same time? anything else? and would the full blends be sat ready for delivery do ya think? or is the work carried out on mine? :? cheers,neil (about to get into more debt because i dont do things half ar$ed :lol: )

is yours a 9a 2.0 or a kr 1800 m8? i may have some old plugs sat around? neil.

shouldnt really matter but best to use genuine where possible. im just thinking of things that have changed with the head,have you reused your old dizzy? etc? id start by checking the plugs if you can :) neil.
