hi m8,id say -40mm is the absolute max you should go on standard struts. really are better off going for uprated ones so they dont bottom out as easy due to shorter pistons and the damping. neil. :)

update!!! well i bought myself a g60 obviously :lol: and the mk1 project is back on,i miss it too much :( just waiting for a m8 to start seam welding etc. neil. :)

it was just a valver lump on new 45 webbers with s.sprint 4 branch and magnex system,was stripped out also. put out 174 bhp @ the fly when it was set up. neil. :)

konigsports here,dropped 2.5 inch all round with the damping set to the softest setting. no complaints at all 8) neil.

great thread 8) car: 92 g60. exhaust: standard except for motek cat bypass. opinion: i fitted the cat bypass and was well impressed,little more go low down the rev range,and the sound is superb,burbles and pops a little backing off throttle. plenty loud enough for me too. car: mk1 16v on 45 webbers. exhaust: supersprint 4 branch leading into full magnex system. opinion: all superb,the sound was quiet yet meaningfull enough,and the build quality of both was superb. neil. :)
