Looks great Vardo...Hope you are happy with the service received :salute: Neil.

That's a possibility aye cheers mate, the local places around here are full of donkeys though so it'll be a last resort. Im about to go see a mate who has a garage and ask him the best way to go about it, I just struggle for time to do jobs myself lately  Neil.
-
Would i be ok with these? Pipe and unions? And Tools for the job? Neil.
-
Cheers mate, can anyone else confirm that?
-
Im after the hard brake lines front and rear on a 92 g60 (late chassis with abs) The ones that run from the rubber flexi on the front and go through the inner wing. I think? i found them on etka but it dosn't give any frigging part numbers? :censored:
-
Aye, that's a good shout actually Mark :salute: Im in Burnley/Lancs and i think they are near Manchester? Neil.

Cheers mate, Problem is that my local place say that both the magnex and my current motek decat are odd sizes. :? So they are wanting to weld a 2 bolt flange to my magnex and weld a piece onto my current decat. Id just rather have a new decat that bolts to the downpipe (as it does now) and slides into the magnex (as it does now) but apparently they dont have this 'odd sized' pipe to do it :? Neil.
-
Did they ever produce one? After fitting my magnex system, it just dosn't match up to the current Motek decat very well (Not long enough/bore too small), it's causing the whole system to have to be pushed forward, and then the joins are not slipping over far enough. And Im in quite desperate need to get it sorted :( ...Im thinking a magnex decat should do the trick. It's a late style G60 btw. Neil.

 Good stuff. It's funny...sometimes the odd person is actually disappointed that the OpticBlue dosn't give off a blue light! All of the light protection films we offer allow a perfectly legal light colour of course. :salute: Neil.
-
Makes me happy to see protected Corrado lighting :D We all know how badly the Corrado's lights are for becoming damaged, so you simply can't beat a product made for the job with years of motorsport backing. Money well spent Colin? :salute: Neil.
-
This is how i did the fronts... and How i tackled the uber tight rears. Neil.
-
Nice Eddy 8) Where did you get the charger inlet flange? Looks good, been trying to find one that's not rediculous money... Neil.
-
EDIT: Hope everyones happy with the product and service anyway :salute: Feedback can be left on the site here. It's always appreciated, as are any pictures sent in. The racing guys don't tend to be too forthcoming with them. Neil. That's a mean looking C Neil - what's she got? Thanks Phil, It's a G60 running 206 brake horse. :salute: Fallen out with it a bit lately... A picture here of GunSmoke protection on all front lighting...More can be seen in the Gallery's at Lamin-X.co.uk/gallery.htm or Lamin-X.co.uk/galleryflash/main.htm Neil.

Glad to be of service :salute: Good luck with the bumper...Haven't had any more idea's meself. Neil.
-
Eek...that's not good mate :pale: Only thing i can think off real quickly is to chop the head off the bolt, but im unsure if there would be enough room to push the bolt up into the chassis leg so the bumper iron would slide out? Another idea is to try something like a ball joint splitter or similar to prise the bolt head down while trying to turn it? Maybe a buzz gun at a garage would be best. Neil.

Anyone seen or know about that 400hpVR 4wd C that Dubsport..
Riley replied to biggerbigben's topic in General Car Chat
Ahhh, rings a bell now, i think we have mentioned this on the forum before... My mot man used to bug me about it, always telling me that there was a faster corrado in town. I just used to tell him to p|ss off or id get my mot done elsewhere. -
A red one, unsure of model, guessing 2.0 16v in Burnley today. There's also a black one knocking about with Borbet a's on it...Oh and a white one in Padiham yesterday. Neil.

Is this the one that lived in my home town for a shortish period? Burnley? One of the ex dubsport lads works in a local place (Previously burnley car audio) Neil. -
Im a believer...
-
Quite possibly aye... But id hope the issue's people have had with them in the past would be sorted? That's what put me off buying one previously. And the price of the bartek jobbie is rediculous!

They do pop up on the forum now and again...I had two sets not long back but both sold now im afraid. Worth trying some though...If you need to make it driveable, you could try popping a small cable tie around the full throttle switch...But just make sure there is no black smoke belching out, and that the cable tie dosn't hinder the movement of the throttle arm/cable. I used to have to drive around with mine cable tied with a problem i was having. Neil.
-
Aye, very basic setup, the microswitches you unplugged consist of: Idle switch and full throttle (wot) switch. Id guess that there is a problem with your idle switch (Lower of the two), it's probably stuck in the 'on' position causing the car to stay on idle map, unless full throttle as then the other microswitches map (wot) takes over allowing it to rev. It won't be the full throttle switch, as if they stick on, the car will still rev/run fine although overfuel a little at idle and have slight lumpyness. Best to test resistance on the lower idle switch when not clicked and when clicked, to see if it changes. It could of course be the wiring as mentioned, it can break, and can also split where it's held in the throttle body. Neil.

Hi mate, The face of the headlights can be protected with a single piece of 12"x16" (Cut into two 6x16 pieces) It's a while since we did the Corrado fogs/indicators so im afraid I can't remember off the top of my head. Best to have a quick measure up as detailed at: http://www.Lamin-X.co.uk/shop.htm :salute: Neil.
-
Consider them on their way Andrew...Happy to help. Here is the company car with SubtleTint on the headlights and GunSmoke on the fogs/indicators. As i said in pm, the size of the lights, size/shape of reflectors can vary the colour a little. Neil.

Well Laura... I did lose the front plate once, but i have it sat down very low. I was having a little fun on some back roads and hit a fair old 'yump' in the road, the splitter bent right up, and the plate actually came off too. But nope...Never had a problem otherwise. Neil.
