Strange...Was that from cold mate? :) Anyone else? :) Cheers,Neil.
-
Few different ones really mate :) Anything from renault 5 turbo's,1.8t's,and the most powerful car ive ever driven...my mates 455 brake horse 2wd sierra cosworth...Shame he sold that, was a cracking motor. 8) I found it using the all elusive search :D
-
Cheers guys. :) If any more could add to this it would be cool... Neil.

Im considering an abf lump for my G60 :) But will it devalue my car badly? :? If the answer to that is yes, then ill build up another G60 lump or sommet maybe. Neil.
-
Dosne like turbo's Stu :nono:  Never been a fan of the way they drive... Mmmm...Just been thinking about abf lumps  on carbs...Fuel in !!! bang !!! fuel out !!! No messing  Any threads on here re:Abf lumps into corrado's? I know the 9a is the simple option, but if i were to end up building an engine from scratch, id prefer the abf really. Neil. :D

Nice one mate :) I put my cam back a tooth yesterday as per the above. Still got the problem like... :( and drives pretty much the same :? Neil.

As title really... I discovered that mine won't start with the blue temp sender disconnected, should it do? Does yours? Not sure if its something that should be tried, but i found out a while ago now while looking into my 3 year running problem. Cheers,Neil. :)
-
I guess so...Could always change the loom i suppose... Bit unsure on direction with the corrado now tbh :? I think ive had enough of g60's all together in all honesty! Neil.
-
I suppose so Stu  I assume using the whole 16v lump is best but with custom pistons? Or audi s2? pistons... Mmmmm, 16v G60 or 16v on carbs for simplicity... Guess ill do some reading up :) But its just at the back of my mind really.
-
Just passive thinking really... So obviously the corrado is a G60, so i have everything g60 wise  But ive also got a kr 16v lump but with no inlet manifold, it was running in my mk1 on carbs. Ive got a supersprint mk1 16v exhaust manifold too. Now the thing is, ive had a 3 year running problem with the g60, and tbh id just like to get rid of the bottom end thats in there... What can be concocted from what ive got? I think the obvious answer is 16v g60? Ive got some 45 weber carbs too, but they will probably be used elsewhere. Neil.

If it helps mate, i know that the rev counter feed enters the fuse box on the top via a black spade connector. There are 2 or 3 next to each other on the top right of the fuse box, and its the one to the left of the 2/3. Neil.

Help, G60 not firing up *still not fixed, SNS chip faulty?*
Riley replied to LisaK's topic in Engine Bay
Have you tried swapping the connector on the blue temp sender over to the black one? I know that my g60 won't start with the blue temp sender disconnected, so i wonder if yours has gone faulty with no through connection at all. Good luck...G60's are the dogs nackers at having the stupidest problems. Neil. -
Cool, noted 8)

Its mad how your own car looks different to how you think it would! Omars mk2 vr6 is a beastly looking thing...shame the batteries ran out before we could get manny's mk2 rolling on the motorway...it sounds mental! :D Neil.

Not a clue mate  Mate  of mine took the washing pic and he's a bit better than me with a camera  The charger was painted with something called Plastikote, not bad stuff but needs a well prepped surface. These are my fave 2 pics from the show i think...

Tbh i don't think we can grumble about the prices that corrado's have held...Compare them to other cars of the era and they are holding up very well i think? And the future for the corrado is bright, they are destined for classic status. Neil.

Was good to meet you Neil, yours looked spot on mate! 8) Well...I was really rushing to get it ready for V.A.G 2008, and was busy sorting out car care gear for a trade stand...Up at the unit and somebody scratched it down the full length of the rear 1/4 on friday :bad-words: :( ! Got it straight to my dads mate (painter) and he had done it by saturday ready for the show sunday just gone, super happy to get it there but im p|ssed off that ive had to have it painted on the rear 1/4 due to some fecking low life :( :bad-words: My fave pics of it from the show anyway...
-

RimWax is made by SmartWax, and its decent stuff. No need to pay silly money for any of these other 'new' amazing products on the market these days... If you polish the wheels a couple of times to get them mint, apply the wax a couple times and they will without doubt wash off more easily and in general be easier to keep on top of. I wash the insides of my wheels every now and again, and they are still like new while using RimWax. Ill have some of this at trade price btw at v.a.g 08 on sunday. http://www.V-A-G.co.uk Neil.
