Corrado G60 Forum Check it out. Thanks,Neil. :)
-
Cool...always wondered what that little 2 pin plug was for on the G60. Ive got an abs fault too
-
How do Monza :) Any chance you could check the internal diameter of the old pipe for me? or the new one if its exactly the same? Cheers m8...Corrado's eh :(
-
Fair point...although there is a fair amount sort of coiled up? Cheers m8. So what about the internal diameter? When i bought the current pipe the guy kind of half ar$e attempted to measure the internal diameter, and it was 3.5mm...and thats all they had so thats what i ended up with. But are we saying 3.2mm now? Cheers,Neil.

Do you ever have dreams involving your Corrado?
Riley replied to joebloggsVR69's topic in General Car Chat
I have nightmares about mine... -
But its been said on here many times that it should be 3.5mm internal diameter? So should it be that or 3.2mm? I just want to know that it is how it should be from factory...theres a lot of contradictory hearsay about g60's afterall. I bought 1m with 3.5mm internal diameter...and its roughly around the same time that my problems started i think, its hard to say for definate as it was over 2 years ago.

I already have a new piece of pipe from vw...exactly 1m long 8) What im questioning is that...it dosn't show that it should be 1m long on etka...nor does it show a 1 piece pipe as far as i can tell. So is etka wrong and someone on the forums right? Or to put it more simply... Did a new corrado G60 come with the piping as per etka (520mm long and more than 1 piece) or just a 1 piece 1m long pipe? Neil.

BBS Rims / Rims full-stop. top lads. Retro-Wheels.co.uk
Riley replied to Nuggit's topic in Suppliers Forum
Id say you are lucky to be one of the few pleased customers... Simon is their previous/current web designer in the below example believe it or not  Yes...thats right...his ordeal as retro wheels web designer has only gone on for 5 months. This is just one of many, many examples... http://www.clubgti.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142169 Ive had the mispleasure of their lies (fact) and rediculous service and 7 month wait myself. Neil. -
Aye...Most cables for throttle/clutch are self lubricating. If anything using oils/grease etc can make them 'sticky' after a while as a small amount of dirt builds up inside, sticking to the oil/grease you have used. Neil.

But does nobody see what i mean re:The above etka pic? It dosn't show a 1 piece pipe... Darren, the pipe i have been using has always been 3.5mm internal diameter as mentioned plenty in the past on here(from vw) would this cause any problems?
-
Right...Im confused. Few quick questions first. 1/The length of the ecu pipe is supposed to be 1m exactly yes? 2/What about the internal diameter? 3/Who actually states this? :? As if you look at etka here (red bits)...I don't see a 1 piece pipe that is 1m long, but seperate bits that equate to 520mm long. :? Oh and lastly... What spec is the fpr pipe (no.18) supposed to be? Etka says 100mm long, but dosn't mention an internal diameter. Neil. :)

Superb. This one is pretty sad...The recent setting up of his mk2 escort for the stages this september. :( Another from the x-games. This is a cool video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_wmDGcsjSU Small clip in a 6r4 Neil.

Jim...I shall leave it up to you m8... :) I didn't want to reply to the comments about 'celebrity deaths' or 'fake condolences' as i don't want the thread to change direction, but i feel i have to say my piece. :( I doubt that McRae entered the world of rallying to become a 'celebrity' and i never even thought of him as one :? How can people not think its a shame that we will never see him rallying again? Unless you are not really into motorsport, but then why bother replying to the thread? Go elsewhere to speak about something you are into. And as for the 'police officer' dying comment...well personally im not 'into' the police as a hobby or anything :? I love cars/motorsport and the people who drive them.People who are 'into' motorsport are bothered about the loss of Colin McRae...We know people are dying every minute of every day,but as motorsport fans we don't follow or know of these people. As for 'fake condolences' , i take that as an insult to be honest...Are you calling me a bullsh|tter? If i wasn't bothered about his death like yourself as a "non appreaciative non motorsport fan"...Then i wouldn't have started the thread and physically felt upset. Anyway...Enough jUST WATCH THIS VIDEO IF YOU ARE INTO THIS KIND OF THING Lets see some more video's eh? Neil.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Colin myself... But i always followed his father when he was competing...and I was lucky enough to sit in the Original Manta 400 that Jimmy McRae actually drove. It was an obvious progression to watch his son,and ive always enjoyed it. Such a shame.
-
It does now... I myself...and im guessing pretty much anyone else with an ounce of respect dosn't want a thread like this ruined,so please have a little word with yourself.
-
Fair do's if you don't care. But this thread is for people who do,so maybe leave the provocative comments out eh?

Aye...tis just the 4x4 cossie intercooler. 8) Really wanted to get a few last tweaks done on the car such as the intercooler etc but i dunno after all the hassle/problems/possible sale. Do i really want to carry on pouring time and effort into it again? I guess im just in the middle of deciding on whether to keep it or not and then possibly having the problem looked at. Ive really let the general tidyness go lately which just aint like me :(

Eh? :?

Well... The car is sort of provisionally sold for 3.8k to the girlfriend...But she changes her mind every minute of the day. So there are two people inline waiting with the cash, ive actually been offered 4k!. Now for my uncertainty. I sold the porsche rims, quite sorry to see em go but the money could go towards having the car looked at...Am i actually thinking about keeping it when people are offering me cash left right and center :? even with the running problem. I managed to get the insurance sorted after using a short term policy, and have been driving it for a while with the wot switch taped up.Today just for the crack i reverted it back to standard, and yep the problem is instantly there... :( Really slow to rev up and popping. Anyway...latest pic as its been a while what with having no real enthusiasm for it.
