I'm after similar such alarm - can you get anymore at that price?????
-
Sorry - Yes it would, but rest assured - it was a small fortune!!!! No unfortunatly not - firstly the place said never again , secondly if I did tell you how much I wouldn't want to be responsable for the freak outbreak of mass heartattacks amongst Corrado Owners!!

It's true - I had no way of clamping my gringer to the bench - so while steve was working like a trojan on mtc R32's car - he was holding the grinder to the bench while I was polishing!!!!!!

Not me - a friendly fabricators near me that agreed to do it after soooo many said no.

So guys I said I had a few surprises in order - the last few weeks I've been having some Ali bits fabricated for the car and over the weekend started polishing up the Alternator cover. The timing belt cover has a few minior alterations to be done but will then be complete! Also have a ali oil breather in the making What do you all think. They are to complement all of the powdercoating I have had done that I picked up at the weekend. I have now powder coated black most of the parts in my engine bay. The supercharger, inlet manifold, charger brackets, rocker cover and alternator are all now powdercoated black. I also have a ali fuel rail to be polished and go in. All my fuel hoses are now with a stainless Steel overbraid. And to finish it all off and to match the red boost hoses, I now have also managed to find vacuum hoses and hoses for my aquamist system with a RED cotton overbraid. It's going to look MINT!!!

1 Cylinder not getting combustion/compression!

Have you had the head off????? YOu can't really say until you've assessed the damage. It may be just one bent valve. However I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there may be more extensive damage to the head such as damaged valve seat which means end of the head. Also the Valve may well have kissed the piston meaning that you have damage to the piston also. Take the head off and take it from there before deciding what to do. You need to know the full extent of the damage before you can repair it! -
It is 100% Specific to the G60 due to the extra locator where the charger belt tensioner bolts to.
-
You can get one from GSF and get the gasket with baffle plate built in from there as well!!!

EErrrrrrrrr Vince!!!!! I think something is wrong with the car!!!!!!!!!!!
-
It tightens up the car, reducing the roll in the car body when you corner and therefore improving handling and steering responsiveness. Hence the name Anti ROLL Bar

Ben - Sit safe in the knowledge that your not the only one having a nightmare of problems with your motor!!! But as Lee said to me when I was losing the faith - If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!! But we do this to make one off's, mine will be, yours definatly is. And we'll both get there, sometime in the near future! -
NO NEED TO SHOUT!!!!!! I think All Smiles are the only place that do Ali ones at the mo. However you need to be careful with these as they can cause the wiper motor to overheat

I've got a set of 440cc injectors up for sale soon - Brand new

It wont swap I don't think - It has nothing to do between early and late. The rev counter works off a vacuum I believe (certainly on the G60) and the sender unit the vacuum pipe plugs into is different G60 one is blue all others - ABV, KR and 9A is a black sender. Not stopping there, you wouldnt be able to change the sender either as the printed circuit board is different for every engine type according to EKTA also. So if what if I am looking at this the right way, then according to EKTA the simple answer is - No you can't just swap the Rev Counter.

Just another reason to put premiums up for no nessacery reason!

Lambda Probe connection!!! You'll definatly need to repair that as is one of the main sensors for the ECU and will make your car run rich and use lots of fuel
-
This is the best place to buy any type of fuel hose or similar from - they are the actual manufacturers http://www.fuelsystem.co.uk/

And also weight - I think the Elan is quite light!! But as Coxlaad said (although it's an Elan Coxy not Elise) is that it has bags of grip, they are well known for the grip they have and (although make no difference to qtr mile) handling like they are on rails!!

There's no replacement for displacement!!!
-
Cool, Thanks mate. just get the fingernails round the black bit and tug? Thats the one!!!!!
-
NO trick - just give it a tug!
