If SP30 is your only offence then it shouldn't affect it at all. I have an SP50 and 6 Points for traveling at 110mph on the motorway and it didn;t put my premium up at all

First pic is not the Kharki green everyone is on about! The second is the Rieger Wide Arch kit

CALLING ALL PAINT EXPERTS!!! Need advice on high temp paint
Blue_Joe replied to Blue_Joe's topic in Engine Bay
In the end, paint just wasn't up to the job........ It was fine with the heat, but just kept chipping off with the slightest knock with a spanner or something. I also found out after it cost me as much to paint as it does to powdercoat, so I have now gone to powdercoating everything I want done -
I know just the person! Drop me a pm with your number and I'll give you a call tomorrow and put you in touch. He's in moseley

Every where you go that does charger rebuilds calls them different names for the work and to be honest each charger porting and flowing is never the same so best is when you think you are ready to have it done ie spare cash adn you think it's time - then go somewhere like G-werks and get it looked at and then ported to best suit the charger you have!!

Melt it down and sell it for scrap???
-
Dealer bought it and is now trying to flog it on at a silly profit!!!! Perhaps you could contact him and offer him a quick sale at small profit to shift it as you know his purchase price - Also point out that he hasn't a hope in hell at selling it at that price http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41493

Billet Cooling System Hardware - www.GruvenParts.com

why bumping this?? Presumably your bumping it as you want people to take interest, therefore I would presume you didn't find it but is actually your company????? The only part that deveops some interest is the radiator neck, yet from the photos it looks to be the wrong way round so would not fit - the neck would be pointing out of the engine to the front of the car!! And I wouldn't pay £60 for a radiator neck that costs a few pence from VAG -
I saw the Trike being built on Discovery's - Biker Build Off! It's an amazing Trike - and was designed and built in Ten Days!!!!!

PM'd you!!!!

Excellent Effort Fella!!!!!!! Must get mine finished now - won;t be too long!! -
Well Jim from Racepower spoke to me today - A few guys from GOLF+ Magazine came down to do an article and take a few snaps of Racepowers new premises and when they saw my car inside said they just had to have it in the pictures. So they took it outside washed it all and it will be appearing it seems in their magazine. I'll try to get hold of the snaps! Just as an update - we're still waiting on the pistons but in the mean time I'm working on a few cosmetic touches to the engine bay that are going to look absolutley MENTAL.......... But it's a secret and I'll show you all when the finished articles arrive!!!

I know of a good one in Birmingham if you can;t find one there!

Looks very nice But..................What's going on with the rear bumper, it looks to be extended in some way?????

Don't entirely agree! My charger was in tip top shape when the car was last running and with full porting and flowing from G-werks (now known as G-werks full blend!) and with a 65mm ribbed pulley was seeing 17-18 PSI. However this can vary from charger to charger, so could be possible to see 17PSI form a 68mm - but rare! I am hoping to see a bit more after another rebuild and a 65mm toothed pulley kit now employed on the new engine!!! (When it's finished!!!)

No GSF only do the bosch ones. You need to go to the VAG main dealer for the belt. It is apparently the best you can get and yes it is made by gates. I was recommended using it on mine and we know what that has had done. Best thing is from teh dealers they are only about £15. When it comes to the followers - in all honesty I again was recommended (by Darren included!) that the standard G60 followers are more than adequate for any cam and you don;t need uprated ones! Just replace with standard!
-
Best cam belt is the VAG original - made by Powergrip Shrick do followers for the G60 - can get tehm from Bartek in germany!
-
The best clutch to use is the VR6 clutch from VAG main dealers

Knocking which varies with speed - Suggestions please.

I think the Sagarris is an AMAZING looking car. It's Ugly in a sense but that ugliness transcends into an agressiveness that suits the whole aura of the car. I'd love one, and if I had £50K spare - I'd definatly be tempted. Who cares if it's a bit unreliable - My corrado has been off the road for 9 months now and the money I've spent on it - I'd be a long way to buying a Sagarris!!!!!!!

Waht a bargain!!!!!!!!! Presumably they are heading to teh retrimmers!
