  1. Mine were loosing about 10psi every week, was a right pain having to pump them up all the time. Finally bit the bullet and got all 4 alloys refurbished and that sorted it!
  2. I just fitted standard VW discs and pagid fast road pads and they are superb now! If you can afford to go the 288s then i'd do that, still using OEM 288 discs and fast road pads... I wouldn't bother with grooved or cross drilled, apparently it doesn't really make much difference at those sizes - they look nice though.
  3. PM me your email and i'll send you the illustrator file. Dan
  4. Here you go, pretty roughly done though:
  5. I really want a QUATTRO now!
  6. I'm sure I've heard somewhere that the spare wheel actually helps keep the boot section rigid during a rear impact.
  7. Shame it was a lemon - i'd love an S4 Avant, would just be too paranoid about something terminal happening to the turbos though!
  8. Very nice car!!! looks in absoloutly mint condition - superb colour too 8)

Thanks, I think it will be for sale soon though... I just can't justify keeping it much longer - It only gets used 4k a year, not what a corrado is designed for!! It will be a sad day :(

Thanks, after seeing yours i'd love to get the Koni + H&R kit - Its a while off though, just spent a lot off money doing important jobs - all new discs, pads and wheel bearings. Why VW put stupidly high suspension on it i'll never understand :?
  11. Awesome - wish I had the money for a fully suspension overhall :(

    New photos - still standard.
  13. I think most good garages will do it, then get a geometry specialist to check it all. Apparently my N/S/F caster was out quite a bit - must be due to the rubbish northen roads! feels so much better now.
  14. There should be some sort of vetting procedure before people are aloud to use Photoshop
  15. Yes, that's the right part number - just had both mine done. The hubs have to come off so a full Alignment needs done £60 or so. If I were you I'd do both, really annoying to have to get the alignment done again if the other side fails!
  16. HAHA - I like the way it recommends that you get a mechanic to fit them! Priceless.
  17. Yep, make sure you have an angle grinder at the ready!
  18. I take it you've never struggled getting a baby & seat out out of the back of a 3dr car, after 3hrs sleep  Parking futher away is fine, but as metioned, some halfwit always parks next to you forcing you move your car to get the seat back in! Also its called Parent & Child parking - Fathers have to go shopping too
  19. Very nice car! Yeah, someone would pay 7k for it - Great standard spec and all the right extras.
  20. 40k is low!! The prices seems to rise in the summer and drop during the winter. Mint low mileage examples should always fetch pretty good money. What spec is yours ? Shame it doesn't get driven much, you should start racking up some miles :)
  21. Actually i've just remembered... getting the carrier hex bolts off was a complete nightmare - eneded up rounding one off and having to angle grinding it! £120 is not too bad - i'll try and get a fixed quote for the service first. I'd like to keep up the history, it only has 64k so may be worth it.
  22. Just had this Email from Shell: Shell V-Power is the new and improved fuel which replaces Shell Optimax today. The high octane quality, combined with its optimised formulation, are designed to provide improved performance in many modern cars. Shell V-Power contains Shell’s unique FMT (Friction Modification Technology) which is designed to reduce friction inside your engine, helping the car run more efficiently. This is the same FMT that is used by the Formula One Ferrari team in their 2006 racing fuels. Combined with an Octane Rating of 99 RON* and high detergency to help protect your car against harmful deposits, Shell V-Power can help you get more performance and responsiveness from your engine.
  23. Blimey!! you really need to find a good independent garage.... I did the rears on mine a couple of months ago & they were dead easy to do! They should have really done both as its quite likely that they will fail around the same time. I was charged around £170 for a service that ended up basically being an oil change! Its a shame really as it has full dealer history, but its just not worth keeping it up.
