  1. Just PM me your address and I'll get one out in the post for you. Happy to help out a fellow enthusiast.

Mine was leaking oil, and I thought it was the oil return pipe. When I started taking apart I found that behind the bracket it must have been repaired before with silicone.

So cleaned it all up, and fitted a new o-ring on the bracket. And it's been all good ever since.

That is very generous. More than happy to cover postage. That's what I like about this forum people are happy to help out without anything in return. Will send pm with address. Thanks

  2. Morning all. I recently removed the charger from my 92 G60 and the bracket next to the oil cooler and found a hole (port) but have no idea what it is for. Does anyone know what it does and more importantly does it require a gasket when the bracket is re fitted? Cheers stew.

  3. Not as much love for red as I thought there would be. The last colour I wanted when I was looking was red but it has grown on me especially when I look at it after a good polish just as the suns going down it seems to have such a deep shine that can only be matched by black imo. Darker colours will give more of a mirror shine where as light colours seem less so.

  4. Personally I would be concerned about fatigue damaging the bumper over time so would consider using tiger glue to bond the shell to the bumper iron for additional support or use 2 pack glue to bond where fixing tabs are/should be. Just my opinion.

  6. You will have to take out the whole mechanism. First remove the wiper arms and behind them are 2x 21mm nuts which need to be removed then you are left with 1 13mm bolt near the drivers side suspension turret. With a bit of a giggle it will come lose and pull out. Now you can get to the motor.

  7. Finally got round to looking into the handbrake problem and found that the front bolt had sheared away from the base plate. Drilled out the spot welds and removed plate so that the bolt could be welded back into the plate. As a temporary measure I have re fitted plate with pop rivets until I have the time to get carpets out to weld plate in properly. All now working as it should.

  8. Were they on drugs?

What made it worse is he claimed to have owned one. Surely you would remember the name of it if you had had one. Or at the very least remember that its a VW not a bloody Ford.

  9. The hand brake bolt that holds the handbrake down has broken I'm assuming the bolt has snapped. What have other people done to fix the problem? Any pics would also be a great help cheers.

  10. Cheers. Would same size wipers be used as corrado originals?

I did use the same blades and are ok but drivers side would benefit from being an inch or so bigger which I will do when the current blades need replacing.
