  1. Hopefully have her ready for the MOT by the end of the weekend. Then MOT next week, sometime. Yeah, we need to sort out the roof and the money for the turbot. I'm sure yours will fly straight through the MOT
  2. Tints and wheels look good, Darren! 8) And the ride height looks spot on ;) That reminds me....need to get that sunroof mech out for ya. Hopefully I'll get that done this weekend...weather permitting
  3. I thought they were calling you back last week?? Bloody British companies are a bit poo aren't they....
  4. Aye, Mike, the BK's aren't bad at all! 8) Not so sure about the clear rear lights though, but then if we were all the same it would be a very dull place...
  5. Fair play, good work there dude. I'd also like to say......McIntosh....I think I've just cum... :luvlove:
  6. Right, I'm not normally the type of person to kick up a fuss, but here goes... I went to a meet at the beginning of January at a pub in Milton Keynes with a few of the guys off here, including one very special member - vwdeviant. He took a couple of parts off me, namely a drilled airbox, green cotton filter and an early heater control panel for the princely sum of just £30. At the end of the meet he said that he didn't have the cash on him and he offered to drive to the nearest cashpoint to get the cash. I had to decline as my lift (mic_vr) needed to get back to Cambridge, so said that he could send me the cash in the post....which I stipulated to be sent recorded delivery. Well, it is now the beginning of April, so I make it 4 months. Now I don't think the post is that bad, is it? Apparently he sent it normal post within a week, which didn't arrive. He then said that he would send it again (without any annoyance at the first £30 having gone missing ). So again I waited and waited. Then I asked again. Nothing. And I waited and waited. Then magically he texts me on Saturday asking for my address which I've now supplied 3 times. So to put it bluntly Jon, I'm fcuking pi$$ed off. 4 months for £30. How difficult is it to get to a Post Office?
  7. Is your's the blue one ^^^^^ Darren? Looks sweet to be fair :D
  8. Two tone pissrat, a couple of TTs, seen a few now. Very true! :salute:
  9. What is it with Bentley wheels?? Everyone seems to be fitting them to dubs in general. Am I not 'scene' enough to understand? :camp:
  10. Hmmm, back to my normal self....talking out of my ar$e...
  11. Pretty sure they are the same dude. :)
  12. Really good idea that! Subtle, tasteful and funtional. I like it, Neil! :salute:
  13. Used the kit on my block. Bloody good stuff. The Marine clean is awesome. I used a little bit of the supplied thinners in with the paint too, and it went on really well. Highly recommended :)
  14. I reckon we should stickify this thread and change the title, its all good reference material and generally a couple of three people wil be using it?? What do you reckon guys??
  15. That's 1 point 21 jiggawatts isn't it
  16. My god, what I suggested actually worked?? I'm stunned
  17. Cheers guys! The Green one was the one I remember, but hadn't got a clue where I'd seen it on here! Thanks again :)
  18. Don't suppose you've got them handy have you, Ade?
  19. I thought I recognised them. An old mate had some on a mk1. Looked good on that too. Good skills chief! 8)
  20. Oooooh, I like them! Very old school, but in a good way. What 'variety' are they, Chris?
  21. Right, I'm looking for piccies of partially smoothed front bumper. Specifically bumpers that retain the indicators, but lose the the fogs and number plate recess. Has anyone got any piccies? Cheers Beigy...
  22. Bump! There must be more people out there who are interested, surely?
  23. I'm pretty sure its to provide some cooling effect on the power steering fluid, but not overly sure why its necessary
  24. Good work dude :thumbleft: As far as the pipe that is cable-tied to the engine mount, that should go through the front panel. Where you've got to holes in the panel, there should be a D shaped pipe that is bolted to it, as you can see in the following piccie....
