another question, where is the relay for the spoiler, is it the one that is virtually behind the headlight switch?? its doing my head in with the spoiler not working, keep on putting it down manually so it does not get damaged by some kid's. :?

sorry, have looked in the search but found no info :oops: my spoiler is playing up, have checked all the fuses there ok, got a new switch because i lost my temper with my old one, all wires are ok, so i looked at the speed sensor, and the plug?? that the cable slots into, its very loose, and it moves 360 degrees round?? there is also alot of movement up/down, really cant remember if that is how it should be, or is it not supposed to move?? oh yeh the spolier goes up at 48mph but then wont go down. :?

bring back the birch and public flogging i say, but unfortunatly in todays age there are just to many bloody do gooders, i'm sure they would change there political stance, if it was there gran that was mugged by some hoodies for some money, so they can get some can's from the local off licence and destroy anything they seem to find, :x

that was exactly where i put mine when i had my carboini installed, it was there for 3 months with no problems at all, gotta put my standard airbox on though, the K&N is making me deaf,,

well i did nothing. my mate took it to the merc dealership he works at, he completely stripped out the interior and steamed cleaned everywhere, then teflon coated all the material, then he mopped the outside twice, then he applied some vey expensive special merc wax. the car looks stunning, no swirl marks, and an interior that looks brand new, well pleased, and the grand total £0. 8)

money, some descent coilovers example fk konigsport £600 ish, some fat ass 8/16 and 9/16 alloys, even 10/16 on the rears £900 to £2000, some expensive arch pulling and spraying £500. the look your trying to copy is not cheap mate, but worth it when you do it right, :wink:

so pretty much what i thought, keep the money for the schrick to one side, and save for another month/two, and get a charger, i will be happy till the missus find's out it's there, :oops:

help guys i have a problem?? thinking about buying a schrick manifold with dastek chip, is it a really worthwhile and cost effective mod?? i can get it for around £900. have looked into it and the improvements have had mixed coments on some forum's. also been trying to get hold of raj at NS racing have phoned about 5 times in the last 2 days, no reply get recorded message phone the number given, and i got told from a women hes very busy, phone back. have also sent an e-mail but no reply. trying to find out if he has any 2nd hand chargers for sale. if he hasn't i think i will get the schrick, and save up for the next GB for a charger, bloody hell just done an essay.

just seen that bleeding the abs can help the pedal feel, mine are alot better now the brake discs/pads are bedded in, i have bled them since, but how do you bleed the abs pump??

as for mod's you want to consider, the first i would do is get some good brakes, or it could turn out like my old blackberry rado :cry: and you don't want that happening, there are 2 good sets in the for sale section, :wink:

seen a stage 2 charger on edition38, got a price sorted then found out its for a golfvr, so it has an obd2 chip, am i right in saying it will be fine for my car as long as i get an obd1 chip fitted??

another thanks to bigpants baby for my rear lenses and replacement fog light lenses, the rear lenses are all ready for spraying and the lenses look spot on, cheers mate :thumbleft:
