well last night i most definately had one. was coming back from the weekly FLOG meet, going down the A5127 from lichfield to sutton, when an on coming articulated lorry hit a low bridge, this made him loose control, and the whole thing flipped over into my side of the road, its a good job i was only doing 60, and TT brakes DO work well, its a very scary sight seeing a lorry skid towards you on its side, i ended up about 10ft from the cab, got the driver out, and got the emergency services there. i did not sleep much last night.

said it before chris, but very impressed with all the work you have done :salute: dont suppose you want to fit an FMIC, into mine do ya  -
dont really know about that 100% Will, but there is a company in coventry DUBSHACK 02476 256387, that a couple of peeps i know have had porsche/fiesta/bmw seats fitted into golf mk2's, rados, and mk1's, the bmw seats were fitted into the rado, and they were fine, i'm 6ft 3" and i could get in and out, with enough headroom.
-
great, cheers Will, that bloody charger you sold me has killed a new gerbox mount, and the front mount is quickly heading towards the scrap yard, but its fun though  personally Will, i would not get the leather recaros, what about some RS recaros, custom frames. and get them recovered in any material you want, they would be unique, much more comfier, and cheaper. your a star. Karl

evening Will, well i sat in some leather recaros in a rado 2 days ago, and they were no where as hugging as the ones that i had years ago in my golf mk2 that had edition1 recaros in it. the sides of the seats are no where as hugging, and the thigh supports are no where near as high, speak soon mate Karl

well technically i can be classed as being a disabled driver due to an accident i had 6 years ago, 5mm x 3" piece of glass going straight through my hand, but i never bother with the disabled sticker, why should i, there are people out there that do need it.

welcome mate, pics are easy, just click on add an attachment, click the light grey browse box, browse through you pics, and just click on the one you want to post, easy.

yeh i did try that mate, but the reply was "we fitted on saturday morning, its now monday afternoon, how do we know you havent done it" they do have a point, next time i will look more carefully, and wipe the grease off the tyre/alloy before i drive away, :(
-
had 2 new tyres fitted on saturday, and just noticed that the tyre fitter, bloody YTS reject, has scuffed one of my rims. gonna repair it myself, but does anyone know what is the nearest match for the BBS silver, at halfords it looks like BMW bright silver?? thanks Karl
-
looking very nice mate, welcome to the world of corrado's, what plans ya got for it, and nice seats, i want
-
this sounds like the corrado that jay renshaw is looking for??
-
yeh Mike it will fit, but you will need an obd1 chip, best thing to do is fit the charger, then get to stealth for a re-map, that will cost ya £350.
-
very happy for ya Rob, how many pointless trips have you made today?? you going to ed38??
-

good luck Rob, which one you going to look at today?? -
had this when doing my supercharger, just take sensor out 23/24mm. and put some PTFE tape on the thread, tighten up, and job's a good un.

i thought starter motor mate, but when it wont start. the starter motor is not making that clunk noise, just been outside checking fuses, they all appear ok. blody cars :?
-
the problem started last week, got in the car. turned the key. nothing?? the heater motor is running fine, all clocks are working etc etc, but car does not start, fiddle around with key in the ignition for a while, and it starts. me thinks ignition switch!! fitted new one yesterday but the problem is still there?? its only happened about 3 times in a week. but really annoying when it does happen, any ideas??
-
i'm just trying to find an excuse for my FMIC, may just tell her the radiator is not very good, and having 2 will make the car run better. what will she know anyway
-
no problem mate, it would only take about 4/5 hours to do. and the heater matrix is only about £32 from GSF,
-
looking good marcus, while your doing the dash, i would do the heater matrix mate, you dont want to spend all day doing the dash, to have to rip it all out if the matrix fails soon after, if ya need a hand i have done 2 heater matrix's before, so getting fairly good at doing dash's  also i have just come back from hols, so will sort out the pics for the santa monicas out soon,
