well the seats are finished, and they are much nicer to sit in, as the leather was properly conditioned before the dye was applied so all nice and soft. Will give them a week to cure then will be very fine wet n dry them to remove any gloss that develops.

would love to see how as the hole the wires go though is about 5mm round, and the smallest plug is at least 12mm across.

i looked into this ages ago mate, and sorry to tell you the handle mounts are welded into place. Well its doable on the Recaros but!! a g60 final drive and an uprated rear ARB makes the corrado vr6 a much better car, a good set of cams would help also. if a GB goes ahead?? as in the last one if they are all sent to me i can ship them all out for beer tokens, as it should work out cheaper as they (SP Turbo) will only be sending out one parcel. put it this way the engine i fitted (the re-built one) was a dizzy, i just changed it over to a coilpack and its worked fine.

i thought the heads were all the same for all vr's, just that the dizzys have a different end plate for the dizzy and the pick ups on the dizzy cams?? i hope so anyway as my head should be here anyday.

well here is the passangers seat all done, will put it in the car today to let it cure 100% but no arses will be sitting on it for a couple of days, but god my hands are killing today as that cellulose has well and truly got into my skin. yeh you not wrong about being better built, it took me over 6 hours to get the drivers side doorcard off mine, all the screws were out but it just would not budge, when it came off i thought ****e i have broken something?? but nothing broken just put together soooo well that they dont like being pulled apart.

your not wrong there Rob, i scrapped it all up after it was all taken off and it was literally two hands full, but the one seat i have done is looking much much better. pics tomorrow as the seat is in the spare room with the heating on full and an electric heater in there to cure the paint nicely.

do like a6 handles on a corrado as they just seem to work so well.

i'm just using cellulose thinners, its looking like that because of how much bloody paint is on the vinyl, the rotary polisher is coming out tomorrow to speed things up lol

the 540 was not that bad on fuel, i could get mid 20's around town and once seen 38 on the motorway, but that was driving very carefully and mine was an auto like 95% of all 540's are. i do miss it sometimes.
