well yeh out of the two HD is easier to use, because if you leave collinite on for more than 5 mins it can be a pig to remove, but the collinite does last longer and beads longer than the HD, plus collinite is superb on alloy wheels.
-
Collinite is great if you just want to wax a car and forget about doing it again for months and months, i find it does make the paint shine and look as glossy as the HD wax but its such a great wax for lazy people.
-
AG HD wax is superb, brings out the shine as good as any dildo juice scene wax, but lasts sooooooo much longer.
-
i'm liking those lead holders alot, you planning on doing any more??
-
where abouts in brum are you?? i'm in sutton coldfield but would love to have a look at this beast. Mmmmmm perhaps i shouldnt haha
-
i have never seen that on the 4/5 corrado interiors i have had apart, looks like mini mouse has moved in.
-
well the wurth bond it came yesterday but it hasnt stopped raining yet so havent done it, and yeh will look well nice againt the bordeaux paintwork.
-
fitted a new belt tensioner so no more annoying belt slip/whistle, and also stripped down some gear shifters for dave.
-
gonna look good after the refurb, you dying them or just cleaning and conditioning them??
-
yeh white spirit or some acetone does the job, last time i did mine i just applied looooads of collinite 476s on it after i cleaned it all and it was fine.

as jim said tyring to find a set of 17" 5/100 genuine LM's is going to be hard to find, and when you do find some expect to pay around 1.5k for them, dont get copies as they are not original and look fake. they come up in jap 5/114.3 more often, but then you have offests and adaptors to take into consideration. ---------- Post added at 9:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 9:08 AM ---------- just found you a set of genuine ones for a good price http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=430889&view=findpost&p=4434637&hl=bbs+lm&fromsearch=1

strange as i had sigma m100 alarm that was in my old corrado for over 4 years and never ever had a problem with it, but an alarm is only as good as the person who fits it. i also have a sigma m100 alarm for sale.

you don't want 18" mate, will handle really bad, 17" is what you want, and hope you got lots of money for some originals.
-
sorry but you obviously dont know me very well lol, if your intrested get onto the vr6oc as a guy is selling both front and rear eibach arbs for £100, just that i would much rather buy something off kev than somebody i have never met/trust like i do kev.
-
sweet, have sent you a pm mate
-
some people should just leave modding cars alone. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3871140.htm
-
i have been looking for just a rear ARB for ages, looked at all the usual suppliers and they only do front and rear kits, i can get one of the Neuspeed rear ARBS from Awesome gti but they are the 28mm diameter ones and they cost £252 for just the rear. Think i'm gonna email some suppliers and see if anyone will just do the rear eibach/kw/weitec ARB.
-
well i cant argue with that can i, pm me over your address then dave and i will send you over a spare shifter, infact i have two spares if you need another one??
-
induction kit
-
keep on thinking about one of daves short shifters, are they really that good?? and not for one second i'm doubting they arent dave.

Question to those with big stoppers - Brembo 4pots/ Tar OX/ APs etc
KADVR6 replied to VAG-hag's topic in Drivetrain
it fits fine but just sits proud, so looking at making a humped boot carpet. -
honestly Andy hand on heart you will not get a better job done for 3 x what my brother paid, i was sceptical at £80 for all four wheels but i was amazed at the finish, so much my RX2 centres will be going there to be re done. ---------- Post added at 9:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:47 PM ---------- send them on a pallet, and then get them picked up?? or i can pick them up for you and then i can send them to you on a pallet, or meet you halfway.

this is a pic of one of my brothers BMW MV1 alloys that were done at city powder coaters, they were very very scabby with some major curbing and lacquer peel, they were acid dipped then the curbing was erased, then primed/powder coated and lacquered, and they charged him £80 for all four. Seriously the finish is just amazing for £80 for 4 alloys.

its easy mate, just dont go at it like a bull in a china shope and you will be fine.

yeh right, what the hell do i want with 2 blackberry corrado's, but would love to see he's black storm lol
