  1. trust me jim i have made that mistake before, just cant find another set :-(
  2. by the time you have paid an auto electrician to look at it, and got all the fobs re-programmed or whatever needs doing?? then if the alarm does not match the alarm certificate you have, and the car gets stolen (which i hope it dont) the insurance will not pay out, so just get a new alarm fitted personally for peace of mind
  3. no problem shaun, just glad your happy with them. karl
  4. you are looking at the smaller BMC, you want the 85-150 kit that will fit a vr6 with just some 83mm silicone hose.
  5. ok kenny its yours, will reply to your pm straight away. ---------- Post added at 9:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:07 PM ---------- well you should have just stumped up the asking price then, these go for around the £100/£120 mark all the time on ebay without the silicone hose, so i wasnt being greedy.
  6. sorry but will only sell it for £100 as its as new with box etc etc, i will take a pic of it tomorrow as its still on the car as its peeing down outside. ---------- Post added at 7:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:02 PM ---------- haha maybe????
  7. i also asked the same question about a month back but never got a single reply, so brand new oe top mounts will be fitted AGAIN this weekend.
  8. well they will be available also mate, so how about £50 posted for the lot?
  9. yeh mate they are the ones bill sold to me a couple of weeks ago, and they are still in the packing from Bill, i had a strop getting my old wishbones out so bought the complete wishbones that 87JETTA16V was selling on e-bay.
  10. the bmc is in very very good condition with all jubilee clips and black silicone hose to attach it to the MAF, and the cold air feed pipework, i also have a little bracket that i knocked up to secure it to the tensioner so it dont wobble at all. Oh yeh still got the box also. also got a set of r32 front and rear wishbone bushes, i bought these off here from Bill but bought some complete wishbones with bushes installed. BMC 100 pounds inc postage SOLD TO KINGKENNY Bushes 30 pounds in postage SOLD TO VAG-HAG karl
  11. if it was closer i would have this, looks like its got leather also.
  12. i think your car has died of boredom being sat in the garage not doing anything, poor car must feel like a caged animal in a zoo.
  13. reliable???? i had my tt for about 4 months and went through at least 8 oe coil packs, i ended up with some spare ones in the boot and the appropiate tools to swap them over.
  14. well my BAM engined mk1 tt with 225bhp felt much slower than a standard corrado vr6, after a re-map though at D&G it was much better.
  15. no, boring to look at and drive, and sorry just dont like that 1.8t engine.
  16. can understand your reasoning jim seeing you have a little daily car that is cheap to run, but been there done that with some nicer all round cars than the corrado, but yeh i'm back with another one they just get under your skin, the 540i i had was quicker/quiter and an all round soooo much better car than a corrado, but did i ever turn around and look at the BM when i was walking away from it?? no, did i really bother when it was dirty and need a wash?? not really, and when was the last time a bloke in a 5 series BM was told i love that car always wanted one?? never. but hey its your car and your money, so just do what you want.
  17. that tub only contains 15ml mate, but go onto you tube or detailing world and you will see how good it is, one coating will last at least 9 months until it starts to break down.
  18. thats not the point is it jim, kev said £55 posted and someone accepted that asking price, then bill comes along and offers more and kev accepted the higher offer price, out of order i say.
  19. its not really a wax but a kinda coating that just repells everything, i have done my rx's with it and all i have to do is get the hose pipe on the wheels, and the dirt/brake dust just comes off with no effort at all. But if you dont wanna pay that then the chemical guys stuff is very very good and much better than rim wax.
  20. for ultimate protection get some gtechnic c5 http://www.elitecarcare.co.uk/gtechniq-c5-wheel-armour-15ml.php?cPath=25_30 as its just amazing, but if not chemical guys wheel guard is very good http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wheels-and-tyres/chemical-guys-wheel-guard/prod_197.html karl
  21. well drivervr6 is coming to look at them on saturday morning as he is only down the road, so if for some reason he does not take them then yeh mate they are yours. unless you offer £50 for them lol
  22. all i will say is i would not be well pleased if i had said i would have something at asking price, only for someone to offer more and it was accepted, an asking price is an asking price after all. little bit surprised you did this Kev after all the hassle of the old classifieds, and the mods being p'd off with people not following the rules.
