you will be fine, i had 12mm spacers front and 15mm rear with standard arches and the TX's set firm, and had no rubbing in the 18 months the brembos were fitted.
-
got some nice new wiper blades for the BM on saturday, £35 on the shelf  used the trade card and paid £16 for them.
-
furniture clinic all the way, if i can go from black recaro's to red then a simple repair is in anyones grasp.
-
probably not, as i needed 10mm spacers with my rc's and the 323mm brembos.
-
yeh i know that mate, just that sometimes you get the feeling that for some reason Stealth are regarded so highly on this forum that bad mouthing them is a no no.
-
yeh all corrado recaro's, 2 sets of black leather, 1 set of grey leather, one set of beige leather and one set of cloth, also had some rover recaros and some ford recaros, and also some recaro A8's.
-
dont slag off stealth one here as you will get banned. i have never posted on here about my THREE experiences with stealth. one day.
-
lovely Datsun  only said that because i'm soooooooooo jealous, but do enjoy it mate.
-
having had 5 sets of factory recaros gone through my hands, only one set was heated and electrically adjustable, the other four sets were not heated. So i would say it must have been even more for them to be heated from the factory.
-
name and shame them mate, it may stop people going there, or at least it will make them weary of going there, but glad its being looked after by some "proper" mechanics who will/do take pride in there work.
-
done four heater matrix's so i can do that with my eyes closed, i took my dash out toady and it seriously took me no more than 20 minutes.
-
phew, saw the thread title and thought you had found out about me and your missus
-
ignition switch = loads of swearing and throwing of all screwdrivers you own. heater matrix = more swearing and throwing the entire halfords pro tools over the driveway and giving the missus a slap when she says "it cant be that hard to do"

been stripping down the corrado the last two days :( and i'm amazed at the condition the car is in under the carpets etc etc, there is NO rust anywhere on the whole car and not even any sign of any rust coming through. not ban for 202k and being 17 years old,

i think you should be ok with the lenso's, but those caliber alloys do look very nice but will probably either weigh a ton or crap made??
-
good job on getting the car running well and having a go on some Jap mobiles, BUT do you really have to drive like a t**t on the public roads in the middle of the day?? do it late at night when theres nobody out so if you do crash you will only kill yourself and the other monges who wanna race on public roads.
-
not having a load of luck are ya mate :( i suppose thats what can happen when you have such a one off designed conversion that was made by a mad boost addict  did you not consider swapping James exhaust manifold for a more tried/tested one like the spa manifold?? it would make any future turbo taking off's much easier. karl

drove past a sainsburys yesterday that has been having a re-furb and the unleaded was £1.09 per litre, the re-furb started 3 months ago so shows how much its gone up so quickly :( i'm only using tescos at the moment also as 5p per litre saving does add up with a 4.4v8 under the bonnet, if the whole population only used tesco's/asda/sainsburys then the other robbing b******s would have to lower there price's, and lets face it the supermarkets are still making a profit with there spend £50 get 5p off per litre promotions. personally we should all fill up our cars and drive off without paying until they put the prices down, what they gonna do arrest the whole population. :censored:
-
does the 70hrs also include working out how to change the gear change settings ?? if so you only spent about an hour cleaning the car  but great work :notworthy: i really need to attack my old mans BMW with some 2000 grade wet n dry so any tips on ding this?? karl
-
so your ideal do anything car is a 3 door golf?? what if you have kids then you need a 5 door, what if you have alot of shopping etc etc then you need an estate, what is its snowing or has been snowing and the roads are lethal?? my ideal one car that does everything is an audi rs4 avant, and i will have one soon.

re-drilling service http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.p ... pic=305194
-
i did say you would not be able to just bolt them on, and you can re-drill these alloys as i have seen them on ed38 fitted to mk3 golfs before.
-
get these re-drilled and your away, i'm not keen on the re-drilling of alloys but others have done it with no problem. the et20 maybe ok but you may need some arch work http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BBS-STYLE-5-SPLIT ... 3effc6c749
