My First Corrado - Bye Bye Mk2 Golfs! Hello VR6!
KADVR6 replied to mookie's topic in Members Gallery
hi mike, looks much better with the standard rear lights, and dont put all reds on as personally i have nearly had a few rear end incidents as in certain light drivers behind you cant see the brake lights properly. i have some parcel shelf supports if you have not sourced some yet?? karl -
MOMO Club 4, its a very very nice steering wheel and suits the corrado perfectly i think.
-
see if the actuator rod is moving freely, if not its easy to lubricate
-
if you find out it will fit?? do a leak test on it mate as mine leaked really badly and have three manifolds from dubpower until i got one that did not leak, pete at dubpower was a true gent though sending them out FOC send pete an email mate asking him if it will fit a 2.8 24v
-
what so you can do the job again in a few months, just spend the extra and fit some genuine ones.
-
there are a set of rx alloys on piston heads mate
-
Well i like at as its sooooo far away from the nomal body kit you can just bolt onto a corrado, there must have been some serious man hours put into creating those arches.
-
well i suppose on what type of shows it goes to, can see the max power kids liking it at a show, and take the body kit off and put some standard bumpers on and it would be a fairly clean corrado.
-
well i'm picking Andys alloys up for him when they are done, i have been there a fair few times (well i have had a few sets of alloys in my life) i will have have a word with Roger the boss, and ask him if he would do a forum discount in the future, well if you dont ask you dont find out?? and local places like Laptab and Pristine alloys send there alloys there to get refurbed, and then they charge you £150+

i hate you but hats off to you for working hard and rewarding yourself. -
well if it makes you feel better that does happen with r32 spark plugs, not very often but its not the first time i have heard and seen that happen.
-
some nice mods there, will look very nice after some good paint correction.
-
well my back/leg is not getting any better at all, so this week i borrowed this off a mate who went on holiday, and my back/leg is sooooo much better so it looks like its the seating position in the corrado that is constantly bring my sciatica back. So it looks possible that the corrado might have to go :-(
-
justmatz sell them for about £22 i think
-
well personally i would fit bigger injectors and get it mapped with out the MAF, Chipwizards near Manchester do this with great results
-
you always have to grind a bit of the head to get them fitted mate, and sounds like it just needs a remap. Also are you using the standard injectors or have you installed some greens??
-
yeh but its not original and looks cheaper than the standard one, plus you can buy the same thing from off ebay for £15
-
well when you get the short shifter from Dave its all nice and clean, so i just bunged bloody grease everywhere as it cant hurt.
-
well fitted the shifter today, and if i'm being honest i did not expect it to make as much difference as it has, its sooooo much nicer to drive with such little effort to change gear, plus when fitting it shoving loads of new grease makes it feel smoother also, so if you have not bought one off Dave get one bought as its a top mod for a corrado.
-
this one time, at porsche camp LOL
-
just a shame Hammond did not get out the tank to try and save it then the Americans drove over it while he was in it, that would be one case of friendly fire i could live with.
-
well you could use wobble bolts, but was is the centre bore for fiat alloys?? you may either need them machined out, or some spiggot rings.
