1. Thanks - will go slow when swapping!
2. I will take this pal! Is it a simple job to use the fixings from my shelf and transfer them onto this one? Thanks, Billy
3. Wish I had known! Has ended up costing a small fortune to "make" this one fit! Will there be any adverse issues as a result of having to raise the rear of the engine by 10mm? It has already knocked the rest of the exhaust system out and I'm having to get all that re configured next week. Thanks for all the advice!
4. Thanks for the offer - I will be replacing the radiator tonight and flushing/checking over the cooling system while I'm at it. I will give you a shout if the cooler is needed...
5. Quick update, after a bit of juggling and changing mounts, finally got it fixed! Started by changing the front mount but that made zero difference. Next was the rear mount, that made a slight improvement. Then had local fabricators make a 5 mm spacer to fit between the rear mount and the engine bracket. That made a big difference, but ended up wit 10mm spacer to completely rid the issue. Now I have a knocking middle and back box as a result of lifting the 4 branch, but pretty sure that will not be a big issue to resolve in comparison...
6. Hi, funny I was just on the phone to the guy who sold it to me. Yes, it is definitely for the KR code and it was previously fitted to a car with power steering. I am about to replace the rear engine mount just in case. When I was looking around earlier today the rear did look a little premised and did look to have a crack around the rim of the rubber part. Thanks for the comment!
7. Yes it's the lower one pal. If it's a direct replacement then yes please give me a shout with a price and will get you sorted - thanks!
8. Ok, quick update - just fitted the new front engine mount (Febi one). Unfortunately it has not solved the issue :( I had a look around the rear mount and it was not looking too great. The manifold is still resting on the steering rack! Any further advice would be lovely...
9. Oops, forgot to upload the photo :) The photo is of the back/right of engine bay...
10. Photo of the back corner of my oil cooler. Guessing it's coolant leaked over time, but does this imply a faulty cooler or just a poor pipe connection? Many thanks.
11. In the photo below I'm thinking is a power steering feed? The pipe is obviously leaking. What can be done? Can I get an OEM part or have to get it custom made? Any help would be great? Thanks! (It's a 1990 1.8 16v)
12. Thanks guys for the replies. The manifold came from a guy who knows about corrado's and he assured me it is right for my 16v. I don't know about the mounts, but have ordered a febi one and will change it out before trying anything else. If I am fortunate this will resolve it :)
13. Been doing a little reading about possible causes and looks like the front engine mount may be the cause. Would a faulty mount cause the engine to drop sufficient to be hitting the steering rack?
14. Just fitted an 'Ashley' 4 branch exhaust manifold to my 1.8 16v and it is catching on the steering rack. Is this normal or is there something I can do to resolve this. I'm guessing there are plenty of you guys have fitted a 4 branch - so looking to find out if anyone has had a similar issue? Thanks!

16. Aye you are right! Got it altogether this morning. The throttle bodies were different and just kept the old one. Thanks!
17. Thanks for the reply - it's the two holding brackets on the back that hold the manifold to the head. One bracket has 4 bolts - two into mani and two into head. The other has on into mani and two into head. If the two manifolds are the same size they should be fine, but I'm sure I read somewhere that the 50mm was slightly deeper? Not at the car just now or would have taken a snap...
18. On my 1.8 16v I'm in the middle of changing the inlet manifold from 42 - 50mm. Do the brackets from the 42mm just swap onto the 50 or are they different? Also the throttle cable bracket looks different too? I changed over the throttle bodies and put my existing one on to the 50mm - is that right? Thanks!
19. Ready to go on :)
20. Are the throttle bodies both the same or do I need to stick with the original? Thanks!
21. Do you still have the brake calipers? Do they take the 280mm discs? Thanks!
22. Many thanks - all arrived as described yesterday!
23. Oh, but I am switching to the 50mn intake...
