Many thanks - ordered the autosmart tardis stuff and on its way :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, this does make a lot more sense. I was getting a little worried at the thought of dowsing in white spirit. Will look out for some proper adhesive remover. Thanks for all the pointers - does get a little confusing when there are a few tried and tested approaches to it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the tips gentlemen - will get stuck in soon! Just need to get my headliner sorted out first! Does the Corrado to-do-list ever stop growing???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does turpentine do the same job or is petrol based better? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have got the old foam off but struggling to get the thick layer of glue off. Is there a tried and tested way to get that stuff off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone got a good outer sunroof seal? Thanks.

Just removed my headlining and debating wether to replace or try to clean etc. There is a guy got a tidy one, but it's from a later car. I have a 1990 and the one I'm looking at is a 1992. Are they the same? Looks like the trim seal is different around the sunroof? Is it just the housing around the light and switch that are different? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for a decent back box for 1.8 16v 1990 :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

To be honest, I'm not sure. I am pretty sure they are the same - these are from an early 1990 car.

Have you begun to deconstruct your dash?
-
That's right, there are just the three. Yes, I still have them boxed and ready to post!
-
No worries, will likely be in touch soon...

If you have a few you need rid of, then be my guest :)

Scratch that last comment - it's closer to £30 from VW heritage...
-
I have one - however you can still get the part new from VW heritage. I think it's around £20 plus postage. The inner window scraper seal. You can have my one for £12 posted?
-
They are the BBS RX's for the VW. I've just put the wheels up for sale on gumtree, so hopefully I can claw back some of the outlay and start fresh - live and learn! :)
-
Hmmm, that stops me in my tracks! Thanks for the experience. Was just about to order all the above... Ok, back to planB and sell the freshly coated ones and stick with coating my ones that are on the car. Thanks for the warning pal!

Outstanding my friend! Guessing this might be the way to go. Many thanks!!!
-
Oh, the adapter price was £120 EACH!!!
-
Looks like the wheels bore are 67.1

Was on the DEAMON TWEEKS website and I can get them custom from H&R 4x100 to 4x114.3 with custom bores for £120... http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product.do?method=view&n=1292&g=550194&p=672632&d=124&c=4&l=2&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Base&utm_campaign=Wheel%20Spacers%20and%20PCD%20Adaptors&gclid=CJemro36pssCFRK3GwodMy4PAw

Yes, spoken to him. He is adamant they came off his Polo which has same fitment as my Corrado, but he also says he had spacers on. He is yet to get back to me when I queried if the spacers were in fact adapters too! Being so far north it's tough to resolve this as I can't simply nip round to the guys house. Guess you have to be suspicious of anything nowadays and not wise to simply take a mans word as his bond :(
