I always found VW give the best and cheapest service. Aftermarket firms charge a premium for this service but I've had castor and camber done by VW on their high end equipment for £60-70

What is going on!!?? Is it just because this forum is so large now that we find out about all corrado killings/accidents etc or is there a concerted effort by mystical powers above to kill of corrado's???? The list grows... Chillys...........already gone :( ATIF..............looks like a CAT D for me if it gets insurance assessed Crdo16v........as above KADVR6........another that could easily be wrote off for uneconomical repair Renshaw.......good old prang but to be repaired PICTURE BELOW - MY CAR, FIGTHING BACK!!!!

what the hell is going on!!!!!!!! Is there a fatwar (?) out on Corrado's!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chillys went to the scrapyard in the sky yesterday and this makes 3 more!!!!!!! They're systematically being wiped out! If that is insurance assessed, with this 50-60% Cat D write off rule, replacing a rear quarter, hatch and lights will result in a CAT D write off. If you want to keep your car, I would be pricing up a second hand quarter, tailgate and lights to see if you can get a cash settlement to repair it or take it somewhere to see if the panels can be repaired to your satisfaction.

the fluid is a lot cheaper than it used to be and its not worth the risk - if you aint got the proper stuff in, get is changed.... squealing on full lock is a loose belt and tightening/replacing will resolve it. if the fluid is low, you will get noise as the pump "cavitates" when the fluid is low.

....does it stink of cheese tho??????? I'm totally lost now - whats with cheese-smelling gti's an'all!!!!!??? :)

i suggested that was what would happen at the time. she said she loved the car but was just travelling to team valley every day and wanted something smaller. she believed tha car was ging to a good home and he said he was really looking forward to owning it etc... Dozy old bint ;) wouldn't believe me - i'll phone up and say "told you so...!!!" Even told her she'd sold it too cheap - heated leather as well!!!! EDIT - just got his answerphone and left a message saying he'd screwed over an old dear - my grandmother ....... :oops: (FIB)

http://www.adtrader.co.uk/advert_detail.php?class_id=110&advert_id=8461438 this car sold 2 weeks ago. i called about it and it went for £2000 - now i've bought cheap corrado's in my time and fixed engines etc to make a profit but the old dear who sold this was told it would be cherished and loved by the guy who bought it - until he makes a quick kill for doing nowt 2 weeks later...... moneys money an all that but it does p155 me off that people who want a corado can't get good deals due to blaggers like this who make a killing and do nothing to earn it.

if the driver in front did not have cause to stop, i'm sure it could be debated but I always thought you had to leave enough distance from the car in front to stop regardless.

gawd!!!! theres going to be lots less corrados at shows next year with all these accidents...... i'd be very surprised if it wasn't wrote off. the only option would be as chilly says if you want to rescue it. chillys car would be a good donour for yours as its damaged at the back and sides and all the front end parts are fine. expensive source of parts though as the insurance co. wanted £700 for it. no idea of new parts prices but full front end? i've been in a couple of g's and really didn't like the experience...... i'm a total 'V' whore and have been for the past 8 years since driving a v6 audi a6 and then 6 vr6 C's since just love the smooth silky sound of the 'V'

they were on ebay for £220 - that was in stainless steel. is this stainless as i wold have first dibs at the right price.......

i was thinking that was worth a punt but got too many cars at the mo..

........and another thing....... the reason all top performance teams aren't british but brits run/develop are in charge of such organisations worldwide is lack of investment in our own talents and skills........................ then we have to import the bloody goods back in for our use at higher cost!!!!
