  5. THE WARNINGS WERE THERE!!! Corrado Deaths on the increase!!!! - Corrado Lemming Disease Spreads Rapidly!!! Sorry to hear about the sad loss - take it the turkey has been replaced with lamb on the christmas menu??? Stick your car on the post above as a warning to others...... :(
  6. think you probably have to be an old b45tard0 but i've found priviledge to be unbeatable. can't we have an insurance thread in the knowledge base, moddy guys??????
  7. my take on it is........ you pull the cable, which releases the nearside pin (note, this one always pops first) - when released, the tension in the nearside release spring pulls the cable to release the offside spring. So, pulling the handle pops the nearside and the tension in this spring then pulls the cable back to release the offside ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! actually, thinking about it, i don't think this is right now????
  8. some more pics are needed on this thread to show the devastation caused by others AND ucaring corrado owners :) (You know who you are ;) ) Nosky, you haven't held your hands up to wrecking chilly's car first time round - lets see some more twisted corrado metal.........
  9. What about the brake pipe incident chris.......
  10. i've remembered one that doesn't involve you, chris!!!! Long ago, I had an automatic cavalier (why, i don't know but i was travelling a lot and it was comfortable....) Thrashed it senseless to the point where the bolts holding the torque converter to the drive plate elongated the drive plate mounting holes. sounded horrendous!!! Decided to convert to manual and sourced all the parts, bought new clutch etc (it was actually cheaper that a new drive plate for the auto!!!) Stripped the auto kit, offered up the manual box but would it hell mate with the engine block!!! No matter how we tried or repeated tried to align the clutch, it would go. After much huffing and puffing, found that the spiggot bearing in the crank shaft was smaller than the DIA of the shaft of the manual gearbox F&^KING Vauxhalls!!!!!!
  11. chris, its all yout fault!! - unfortunately your corrado's waywardness has sent out a vibe to all corrado's turing them all into lemmings!!!!! Mines staying in the garage with earmuffs on so it can't hear ethereal voices from the grave of your corrado calling all corrado's to commit harikari..........

  19. s2 COUPE all the way for me . get off the fence and get one bought. not into old beemers - the s2 coupe is - smarter - rarer? (irrelevent if neither were in canada i s'pose) - more practical (hatch) - more modern looking of the 2 - did i say far better looking - oh! and its prettier ;) - and through squinty eyes, sort of looks like a fat corrado :) I'm sure you know what they look like but......... (I've almost talked myself into looking for one now!!!!!!!!!) Chilly, this is what you want :) - get a 2litre coupe - cheap insurance?
