have you checked your rear spring top plates as they have a habit of rusting and falling to bits
-
in the good old days of mechanical exchanges you could have rigged up an amplifier to the phone line and deafened them just waste their time as much as possible, talk really slowly or try and see how many times you can fit a random word into the coneversation as possible like cabbage or albatross, at the end of the day its their phone bill
-
i hope you dont mean fit the spare while your naked(shudder) :pale: :gag: :pukeright:

mine was putting out 177 totaly standard on the rollers at stealth before the chip and pulley so unless there is something wrong you should get more than that
-
are there any vw's with a slightly wider rubber trim only about 1mm wider as the last muppets who changed the screen on mine also chipped the paint around the top of the screen and although i have touched up the chips a wider trim should hide them completely. my car is booked in for a new screen next week so i need the new trim before i take it in
-
maybe you could get one that says "i didnt choose to drive a vectra ..........honest "

to do a proper job its a case of removing the part that needs to be polished and then get it on a buffer if you just want it clean though warm gunk on a warm engine will do the job but takes a lot to get it all dry afterwards
-
im not sure but i didnt think an isv would cause a misfire :| is it a misfire or does it just struggle to pick up revs? any different when its hot?
-

if the the mist is bugging you that much, try some rain-x anti fog, it used to work really well on my old mr2 t-bar which allways leaked i have never had any problem with excess mist in my c and its kept outside all the time i did take all the seals out when i first had it and cleaned them thouroughly with rubber treatment

a nice chunky supply to pretty much any headunit will also improve the sound quality especially a good earth

i like the smudged style writing, it gives it a sort of worn casual style i think just plain text would just look dull and a bit cheap you could try just "corrado" in the same text as the badge or "supercharged" in the style of the supercharged badge or whatever engine its for how about adding the aerial to the outline too? -
couldnt you just remove the old glass from the plastic backing plate and stick the new mirror glass onto that?? the heated element on a set of corrado mirrors my mate got from the scrappy for his kit car where actually stuck to the back of the glass with a strong plastic tape and could be removed and fitted to new glass, pretty sure thats just for the old style ones though

the rough look works quite well, maybe just a bit more distinction between the g&s at the beggining and it would look cool -
could be worn brushes on the motor........did it get gradually worse??

yep better than the last ones, more simple but more effective for the back, how about an outline of the g-lader or whatever engine its for, made up of writing about the spec for that car, so at first it just looks like a drawing but if you look closer its made up of text? found this on the net a while ago which looked quite cool -
mine just had a bung in the hole and when i replaced the boot the new one had a spring assistor, very handy for the remote boot release

thats an earlier style g40 though isnt it this guy is saying his is a 1993 k plater hmmm sounds a bit fishy to me

Hmmm. What should I have A4tdi or new Golf GTI?
coolrado replied to K-rado's topic in General Car Chat
people seem to complain about the dead lack of feedback steering for the new audi's but i hav'nt heard a bad thing said about the new gti, if its as good as people say it is go for the golf -
oh i know you could probably get that sort of power out of one as a mate of mine used to have a tuned and fettled g40 not quite 220bhp though. but i wouldnt have thought vw would make one for the road that was that highly tuned and the dtm exhaust and mirrors dont sound right??
