yeah 210 for 4 x discs and F&R pads. -
any benefits to removing this on a VR6? would be very cheap to do so if there are gains there it would be ace :)

the crossdrilled zimmermans from GSF are £210ish for 4 discs and pagid FR pads on the front and std pagids on the rear. -
I meant to get a printout of the plots overlaid (still on pc from last day) but forgot  Next time Im up Ill get them all and post them up. they make interesting viewing. Im still a bit low on power lowdown and the MAF is the suspect.
-
nope - same rollers and everything. 155whp -> 166 whp. only changes are airbox and decat. 14 up on fly figures.
-
I have only done a carbonio air intake and decat to my VR6 and seen an increase of 14bhp on the rolling road. car feels much sharper and it sounds amazing when getting pushed :) From what I gather the std exhaust is pretty good so a decat was enough for me.

Sorry I didbt know if you was asking AndiG60 how much he was wanting to spend. It would be no good for you kev as you are running a Shrek, my chargecooler is built into the inlet. so how much is it?

I have a good one on the car but my RR guy reckons its not 100% as torque is a bit low 3-5k revs. feels perfectly fine to drive on etc but something just lacking at low revs. I also have a duff one which has issues at idle etc that Im not afraid to mess with :)

grand job - just wondering if anyone found a new supplier :) can they be cleaned up at all?
-
whas the going rate these days for an air flow meter for a vr6 new? mine *might* be a little duff so preparing myself for the worst. got a price of £175 so far. cheers -pablo

3k seems a bit optimistic. 2200-2500 perhaps? whats the going rate on these cars of similar age/miles on ebay/autotrader?
-
lol i wouldnt think so ;) just to replace the sidelights for some aesthetic pleasure. not to everyones tastes but hey... :)

finally done this at the weekend and it was easier than I thought initially :) removed door card removed the top inner stip along the bottom of the window (that the dorr car slips into. removed the outer weather stip along bottom of window prised the arms out of the racer housings (crap description) removed the two bolts securing the window to the motor mechanism pulled the window up and out. its a bit tight around the centre due to the cable which pulls the window up and I had to put some tape along the top of the door to stop the window getting scratched on the way in but other than that it was pretty easy. I tightened the 2 bolts loosely at first and put the window up and down a few times to get the rigt position then tightened them up. job done - no more nasty scratched window :D
