I *ALWAYS* look back lol ;) -
same here mate - its catching about half way down the sidewall. I like the look of them sitting nice and wide tho so am not gonna take them in too far ;)
-
I think my problem is that Im on ET32 :( it only catches on a very severe bump tho. Im gonna get 2mm cut off the inside face of the rim to take the offset up to 34ish. It really is that close.
-
probs came off an A3 or TT or something?
-
should be cool mate. only problem might be the caliper catching the rim. this happened on my ET35 rims and I just stuck 3mm spacers on. no more problem.
-
you doing the paris dakar rally in that mate? ;)
-
hmm thats not bad - will try it out for him and see how it goes. cheers all. anything else I can check tho while im under there?
-
might try and disconnect the MAF and if it runs no worse get one from a scrappy to test or something.

we had it on vagcom pre lambda/hall change and they were the only codes it was showing.

my bosses car again. has a serious problem at low revs. if he idling at the lights and FLOORs it hard the car just sits for a few seconds then slowly begins to rev. once the revs hit around 2k it starts to come to life and accelerate then the boost kicks in ok and its normal. until acting normal it takes maybe 5-10 secs. recently had the lambda and hall sensors replaced. any ideas anyone? turbo seems to be fine once it gets going but the lift is atrocious from idle. any suggestions appreciated.

I ALWAYS get offsets the wrong way around. Its so counterintuitive. I keep thinking bigger offset bigger offset from the hub. cheers Storm.
-
maybe need what? 15-25mm spacers? 8s might be a nightmare too - Im having enough problems with 7.5s :(
-
get those monster truck tyres off ASAP!!! I got them on my TT alloys and they had to go. 205/40s now and its nearly right :) still clips the rear arch at the front bottom tho :(
-
its wierd tho cos Im stopped when I hear it so I guess that rules out the suspension. gonna pull the panels off and have a look the curiousity is killing me!!!
-
sometimes when I stop at lights etc (and noise level goes down) I can hear a clicking sound from the rear pass side of the car. sounds like its in the boot. sure enough the other day I had the seats down and it was much louder. only seems to happen when i stop and it lasts for a second tops. might happen a couple of times depending how long Im stopped. defo isnt: heated seat relays (more from boot area) rear spoiler mechanism (happens at low speed also) any ideas? just bugs me a little. cheers -pablo

cant say i minded - you still got some radio and all i ever listen to is Radio 1 - luckily 99.7 was cool so I was happy.
-
I was able to get some RDS on my US pioneer. i.e radio station names (RADIO 1 etc)
-
nope sorry dude - tuners are diff. we use 50KHz steps US uses 200HKz steps. some US ones are switchable tho. if you dont want radio go for it.

its amazing stuff - great in engine bays too!!

time for another log ;) I bought an off the shelf chip for my fiat coupe turbo. all it does it remove boost cut in 1st and raise the fuelling map to 1.4bar. pure off the shelf one size fits all :) Was only £100 too -
yup thats what i was at too lol :)

if you lift the armrest up cant you just unscrew and remove the armrest? Im pretty sure you dont have to mess with the tunnel trim.
