Milling the cylinder head, thinner headgasket, different pistons...seem to be three common ways to increase compression.

You can get chains and a clutch kit here for about 80gbp each. Stuff in the UK is a grip! Check this place out...it still may be cheaper even with the shipping costs. http://www.fourseasontuning.com/ Timing chain kit http://www.fourseasontuning.com/?product=19 Clutch kit http://www.fourseasontuning.com/?product=37

The two oil cooler lines? They are the two worst ones to remove and install. If they pop while your on the road...your screwed...not a simple fix. Coincidentally...those were the two I did not use. I used factory VW ones when I changed out my water pipe months before.

Doh!! So does the US spec ones come with extra or not enough hoses? If you contact Jim, he may be able to put a set together for you.
-
I know they are in stock from where I get mine from. Granted its in the US...but you'll get them in a reasonable amount of time. May be cheaper too. He's got 10 sets in stock. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2280533 Direct link to site: http://www.fourseasontuning.com/?product=34

Lol...just like a real Corrado!! :drinking:

Any of you have issues with the door not closing? I have ordered two from Germany and hate to get defective ones.

Dam...thats an old video. It used to be EIP's demo car. They actually drove that car cross country when it was in more streetable trim. I rode in it when it "only" had 400hp. The motor has since been removed and the car sold.

Bah! Quattro....schmattro... :compress: Just bceause it has awd...dosen't automatically make him Michael Schumacher.

WIth my stage 2 VF, I kill my friends' 225 TT with just about every bolt on available. Once I hit 4k...the TT is done. They are quick off the start...but once it hits the top end...its done. Up above 5500rpms the KO3/kO4 runs out of breath.

Jeebus man...some of these places want 45 euros (59usd) to ship to the US.

The place I got mine from took Paypal.
-
They're popping up on Ebay.de one by one.

You can always wire the indicators to the parking lights.
-
Sweet! Just let me know. Thanks, Lee

The VR can take somewhere around 500whp Most people will use a thicker headgasket A tranny off a 4cyl will not bolt up to a 6cyl block

Even though its expansive, I recommed getting the factory lines. They are updated too. As mentioned earlier...they are formed lines. Generic fuel lines are just straight tubes and are likely to kink in the engine bay. Think if it this way...you won't have to worry about them for another 10+ years.
-
You can always get one of these from Summit Racing.

Very nice! I hope Revell dosen't tease us with the Scirocco, like they did with the Corrado! Also hope they don't make a small batch to begin with...because demand is going to be high...but they should have figured that out by now.
-
I bought one on Ebay yesterday. I guess that'll hold me over until the Revell one comes out...whenever that may be.
-
Heres another one on Ebay.de. Inside guy...hmmm... Its widebody and looks like ass.
