  1. BTW just like to say that is an awesome price for the intercoolers on that site, maybe not as good guality as custom ones e.g Pace Products, Forge Motorsport etc amd not tailored fit etc. but for the cash, awesome kit and great value, nice one !
  2. Uh, the link above that he posted does go to the SNS homepage ??
  3. Anyone able to help me out here ? Cheers
  4. Well well, Northern Constabulary up here in Scotland would appear to have got themselves a brand new BMW 330D Sport in silver. Spotted it coming back from Inverness this afternoon on way back to Aberdeen, parked head-on facing into oncoming traffic coming up a hill on the single carriageway A96. I gave a fair few flashes to warn oncoming vehicles after I passed it just after Forres and then spotted a pair of police motorcyclists (who BTW were both sporting black visors which I thought were illegal ??) who stared venomously at me flashing other drivers to warn them of the impending silver covert Beemer
  5. Cheers mate, I do have a huge front-mount intercooler fitted. Just a few other questions though, forgive me for being thick but I take it you can just use the single-jet as one and that constitutes a single-stage kit (if you use both that is dual-stage or are the kits supplied by gibber different ??). Do you need to change any other parameters and is the pump just set to come on / operate at a certain boost pressure, how does this work (is there sensors / switched that need to be fitted ?) and how did you get the kit set-up properly ? Basically does anything else need to be changed to run the single nozzle if you bought a dual-stage kit in the group-buy ?? Cheers
  6. mike_g60, Am soon to get my water injection kit installed (the dual-stage one from the GB but haven't had any of the jets changed at all as I seem to remember was being advised ??) Do I still need to get the jets changed or even use the dual-stage at all, just use a single-stage instead and how do you go about doing this ?) and am going to have the jet installed into the same location as your kit. Are you still using a 70/30 % mix in the kit (where did you end up getting your demineralised water and methanol from ?) and did you have to get the jets changed at all ? (looking into the fittings supplied in the dual-stage kit I purchased as part of the GB, one of the jets has a "3" and one has a "5" written on it. Which jet should I use or do I need to get them swapped out ? Sorry for all the questions but I want to get this right first-time and not damage anything as my engine is in / will in an even higher state of tune when the kit is finally installed. Has anyone else found a better-suited location to install the jet and more to the point, has anyone else fitted one of the GB kits to their G60 yet ? Cheers
  7. Any chance of some pics and how much did the kit / installation cost ?
  8. Yep, I had a set of the 9x16" Borbet B's a few years back now when I had my first white G60 rado, they looked fantastic but impossible to get big brakes over them and car never handled that well with them on.
  9. Correct, they are 7.5x16" ET25 Borbet B split-rim effect wheels. They are my old wheels which I didn't have for very long, they just sold on ED38 few days ago for £900. They guy I sold them to had them refurbed, diamond-cut and laquered then had them on his MK2 Golf until recently.
  10. I may be wrong but I think the Piper 285 is actually a 268 cam ? I run a split duration / asymmetrical cam in mine 268/276 (same as Blue_Joe has put in his engine) and find it great. Cheers
  11. Em, they are certainly not slow, they would waste a corrado VR6 BTW, 0-60 in 5.5 secs, standing quarter in 13.9 secs and top speed around 165MPH all as STANDARD. Cheers
  12. Awesome power mate, 3.0L V6 twin turbo, sound amazing and 300BHP as standard, rechip, induction and exhaust will see 360-380BHP. But as mentioned rather thirsty. Look pretty cool tho even tho getting long in the tooth now ! Cheers
  13. How about these man ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-GOLF-G60-CORRA ... dZViewItem Only 6.5x15" but I reckon they look ace, no bids and almost 6 days to go, last set went for a fair bit tho ! Cheers
  14. khurrado, I find that comment perhaps a little inappropriate tbh.....
  15. So to sum up it's a rallye 1H G60 engine with a stage 4 charger, chip and pulley, high-lift CAM (not cams, it only has one), ported head, uprated fan, solid engine mounts, 4-branch manifold and induction kit with performance plug leads ? Guide prices: G60 engine with charger £750-£1100 (only if inc. O2A gearbox and ECU as well and average miles, all in good condition with all ancillaries) chip and pulley £75 high-lift cam £100 ported head £150 solid mounts £75 pair 4-branch manifold £100 induction kit £50 plug leads £30 uprated fan £50 So I reckon you could ask MAX £1500-£1600 if sold with gearbox and ECU Cheers and HTH
  16. Yup, I run 205/40 R16 Toyo Proxes T1-R's on my rims and no complaints, always ran Toyo's without any issues. 205 40 R17's will be fine all round.
  17. B*******, they are not limited in quantity or rare ! As stated, made up from MK4 Golf rear badge and 1.6L MK4 Golf / Bora badge, however, £10 is what both cost from the dealer (£9.60+VAT for both purchased together) as I bought these to update the rear of my last one then sold them onto someone from here, the guy doing the G60 conversion into his MK4 cabrio, Cheers
  18. Kiss my bad self, I didn't see the new thread, and the second clip I posted up wasn't a repost... Clip of a french Corrado meet: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &q=corrado Cheers
  19. I would say about 300BHP, perhaps a bit more but that would have to be with an uprated helix clutch for longevity, however VR6 clutch is supposed to be good for up 300BHP, Cheers
  20. These wheels defo won't fit over Brembo's, however, they MAY fit over the likes of smaller 4-pot calipers such as Hi-spec or Wilwood etc. Cheers
  21. Hey all, Couple of vids here for your viewing pleasure, first one a rally clip of a MK1 Golf negioting a nasty bend on a tarmac stage, closely followed by a Corrado which doesn't fair so well......the driver's comment as he gets out of the car sums it up completely I think :-) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &q=corrado Second clip is of a french Corrado meet: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... &q=corrado Cheers
  22. Yep had my chrome rear Corrado script badge and Porsche logo'd valve caps nicked when my car was outside the bodyshop and had tyres slashed on my CRX a while back....no respect
  23. Can I get a reeeeee-post, posted it up here last year, Cheers
  24. To get a set of alloys fully polished e.g. Design 90's you are looking at about £160-£200 for the set of 4 plus carriage costs. Speak to Low_Vento on here or edition38 forum as he is THE man for all your polishing needs, Cheers and HTH, BigTartanJudge
  25. Do a search on the forum using 16VG60 as the search string / title and this will bring up a list of past questions / info on this topic, Cheers
