  1. I have done both of these mods so will post up pics of my set-up when I get a chance. All that's required is correct length of suitable flexible ducting, an alloy flange and a universal K+N or similar. The ducting passes from being attached to the RHS of the charger behind the fan housing and down underneath the vehicle, as being outside the engine bay there is little heat. An alternative is to use the charger to airbox rubber hose together with a length of suitably shaped alloy pipe which goes from the rubber hose just outside the engine bay then attach your filter to this pipe, hey-presto, secondary intake which doesn't get heatsoaked. As for relocating the original intake, I suggest using an original charger to airbox rubber hose together with a length of shaped alloy piping and attach the filter to this. I have attached pics below of G60 engine bays to demonstrate the above details. My set-up for the secondary inlet is basically the same as in the second pic but my ducting and filter sits outside of the engine bay to avoid heatsoak. My primary induction set-up is as in first pic. Cheers
  2. Nice car mate, looks quite similar to Westside Sukh's VR6 rado, nice. Cheers
  3. Looks nice mate though not sure on the rear lights tho.. Cheers
  4. Apparently you can see a foot just sticking out the wreckage in the second pic.... This Enzo seemingly went airborne at over 150mph and 67 yr old retired Italian driver lost control when it returned to earth, hit a tree and roadsigns etc., ripping apart the carbon fibre cockpit monocoque and that's all that was left when it came to rest.... Not good and devastating for the guys relatives and to see a car of that stature ending up in that state is depressing too...
  5. Think GSF, Eurocarparts, Brakes International etc. sell these for £60ish exchange IIRC ? So maybe £150 ish for the pair, Cheers
  6. Advert just said P.O.A.... Can provide details of the vendor though if required, same company used to own the UK's fastest steet-legal Supra with over 1250BHP.... Also I know of an Escort RS2000 with Gartrac LSD rear-axle and 270BHP, see pic below.... Cheers

  8. Thought this sounded familar so checked an old invoice and this part is indeed known as a "coolant flange"  I could say something here about females, servicing and coolant flanged but I'll just leave it...
  9. I would tend to disagree, Scooby's and EVO's (not as much as Scooby's) lose a large dose of power through the 4WD transmission as well as the rado having an advantage due to it's lighter weight etc. And in both videos, the drivers of both cars had chances to do the countdown and then start / floor-it. The point is I feel, that a rado with lesser power but lighter weight and a good strong modern engine will win hands-down over these heavier cars with bigger power. Agreed though, the driver has a lot to do with these battles but not as much as you would think. Anyways, about these conversions, the way I see it, rado people have a few options open to them to increase power and torque etc whilst keeping it still VAG: 1. 20VT conversion / swap e.g 150BHP / 180BHP / 225BHP (easy, conv. getting cheaper and reliable 280-300BHP poss. with minimal mods, over 300BHP with better rods / pistons / bigger turbo, can use factory G60 management) [i reckon you could do one yourself for around £2500 installed including base engine, QPENG conv. loom and other bits req'd) 2. 16V turbo conversion well-documented in UK and Stateside, 250BHP conservative but 300-400BHP poss.) 3. 8V turbo conversion (v.popular stateside but not as much in UK, cheap to do, reliable and 220-250BHP easily attainable with no real major work, 280+BHP easy to attain with few mods, not as expensive as 16V / 20V or 8V G60) 4. 8V crossflow G60 (not heard a lot about this over here but popular Stateside, 250+BHP, availability of parts needed and necessity of custom manifold etc.) 5. 2.0L 8V big port / valve G60 (250-280BHP poss. attainable, not that well-documented though over here as yet and expensive) 6. 20V G60 conversion (250-300BHP easily attainable, kits available (Volkspeed?) IIRC Cheers
  10. Yee-ha, those vids are totally awesome, the Scooby and Mitsi drivers must have felt well, so.......totally.......owned ! Pick a gear and go...the rado' destoys them both easily, nice ! Cheers
  11. Born: 1976 -- Queens, NY Given Name: Curtis Jackson Interesting Facts: * Unfortunately, 50 Cent's mom, Sabrina, was murdered when he was eight years old. She was a drug dealer. * 50 Cent was raised in Queens by his grandparents. * He entered the "family business" and began selling crack cocaine when he was just twelve. * 50 Cent's first arrest happened at his high school when he was busted in gym class for the hidden crack vials in his sneakers. * His crack operation grew to gross over $5,000 a day, but he saw rap as a way to get out of the game and performed rhymes at parties. # In the spring of 2000, 50 Cent was shot in the face, hand and legs by a man with a nine millimeter at close range. He survived a total of nine bullets. # One of the bullets lodged in his lower gum. There's still a gaping wound where several of his rear teeth used to be. # The shooter has since moved on to the next life, but we're not sure why or how. # After the shooting Columbia got really nervous and dropped 50 Cent like a hot potato. Nice, full story of 50 cent da rappa here: http://rap.about.com/library/bl50centpage.htm Or here: http://www.rapindustry.com/50cent.htm Cheers
  12. Rado used to be a drug dealers' car.... funny that cos' pretty sure 50 cent himself used to be a crack dealer when he was younger, hence how he got himself shot in the face twice and lived to tell the tale and make (even more) millions as a rap star Coincedence...? :)
  13. Remember Premier's red MK2 from a few years back ? I have a set of the Gotti wheels which are like the ones on that car for sale at the moment. There are fully polished up with new dishes and ti bolts etc. Best wheels next to 001's for the MK2 IMO. Mine are 8" and 9 x 16" with the right offsets and am willing to do a deal with the adapters and tyres too. Give me a shout if interested Cheers
  14. It might be different in England and Wales, but in Scotland the police have to send you a "Notice of Intended Prosecution" or NIP within 28 days of the alleged offence having being committed or the charge is null and void. Cheers
  15. Bill, The tool you require is called a spline socket, comes in either 10 or 12-point fittings. Torx (TRX) sockets are 6-point only. AFAIK the BBS tool is 8mm or poss. 10mm. Hope this helps, Cheers
  16. Well tbh, just because it appears on a website doesn't mean they still own it really, esp. as they bought it back in 1996 :? Anyways, as I said I may be wrong but I think it sold a while back now. Cheers
  17. AFAIK, I may be wrong, Venom doesn't own this car anymore, it was sold a while back and they don't have any other Corrado demo cars. Cheers

  19. Out of all the cars mentioned above, have to agree with Henny, VW Passat TDi all the way, huge boot, economical, smooth to drive, quite powerful too, reliable, reasonably cheap parts etc, etc. Would defo be the one for me if had to buy family car ! Cheers
  20. Em... http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... wincharged Cheers

  23. Displacement http://www.answers.com/topic/engine-displacement Bore = diameter of cylinder and stroke = length of cylinder Increasing engine displacement means using oversized pistons e.g from 2.9L to 3.0L or e.g 2.9L to 3.1L using "bore and stroke" kit normally (includes a "long-throw" new crankshaft) Hope this helps
