    Removing Tailgate

no mate you do have to pull the wires through the tailgate if you tie some string to the wires when you pull them through you can then use it to pull the wires back again hth

    G60

its got to be a good thing for us g60 owners i think, surely with all the g60 engines being put in golfs etc and the amount of high milage chargers being irrepairable and all the g60,s we now see breaking for spares there must be a fraction left of what was ever made
  9. there is a couple of earths on the side of the head above the gearbox hth funk

    ignition timing

the distance from the ign timing mark to the tdc mark is 14.5 mm so divide this by 6 =2.41 so measure the tdc mark past the ign mark 2.41 theres your 7 degrees funk
  15. i bought a red 16v with door and quarter damage off e bay for £450 i could have repaired it but in all fairness they aint worth a great deal of money anymore unless they are in vgc with low miles i decided to break it made my money back and still got a load of it left and fitting second hand quarters really isnt ideal funk
  16. you connect a air/fuel gauge to the lambda probe and aa boost gauge to a vacum line behind the speedo unit
  17. i can do them for a lot less if you get the handles and plates,it aint an easy job to get right but if you see the handles in mine they look spot on, and its black :D funk
  18. i know in the body shop that i work most insurance companies put a limit of £900 on average claims and it dont take much to go over that seems really silly to me as ive seen some very nice cars wrote off for just wing damage like yours, when someone with a litttle knowledge could fix this for a few hundred quid and ive had 2 this week completly refused by insurance companies due to undeclared modifications hope it goes ok for you funk
  19. ive sold the 3 switches i have (payment pending) to roby d have a word with him maybe he wont need all 3 of them funk
  20. sorry no part numbers on any off these either

  22. surely it has to be a lot more cost effective to re build your vr6 motor im a big fan of 1.8t motors but there is a bit more expense than just the initial motor and if you then have to pay someone to install it all your going to have a £3-4k or even higher bill for a motor with not a lot more bhp than what you already got then adding the cost of higher insurance premium better to stick with the vr6 imo
  23. i had the same problem of everybody wanting £75 for a second hand one i eventually used on off a seat which i got off a local scrappy £20 bargain :D
