is it metallic black ?

well i finally got round to finishing my audi handles and re spray and was well pleased with it. being that im trying to set up my own body shop i gave up work last week put the car up for sale and all was going well until somebody drove into the front of it today,gutted i can repair it but have no where to do it now and cant get a workshop until i sell the car and got the cash,well could be worse at least the bloke is paying for the damage so ill just have to get someone else to repair my pride and joy

im in the process off fitting a smaller pulley (70mm) i thought i needed to get a smaller belt but after a call to my local specialist (tsr) he assures me the standard belt is fine the tensioner will take up all the slack is this right ? also when i removed the standard pulley it has a cover on the back of it the new one doesnt leaving a hole behind does this matter tia adrian

ive just bought a pulley from low g came very quick before the cheque had cleared nice one mate thanks adrian :D

yeah that can be repaired not the easiest of jobs but as 8vg60 said it would be a good idea to refit another type of handle loads more secure and no more work than repairing it to fit the original handle

i can fit audi handles if anyone wants them. i was quoted £800 to fit them and paint them so i think my £500 is very reasonable this is a very time consuming job and hard to get right, it would include fitting handles filling primeing and painting of the door and rear quarter panel and for a little extra i could paint the wing making the whole sides of the car look new, ive just finished mine today and will post some pics tomorrow and ill think you will agree it looks awesome funky

there is a screw behind that may have come lose, to get they hook off the screw you need to push it towards the roof its a slide on piece hth funky

i recently filled mine with diesal not good to get it out i took off the fuel pipe in the engine bay and connected a wire from the boot light to the fuel pump and pumped it all out took about an hour and rest assured i wont be doing that again funky

mine did do this last summer untill i took it all apart and greased all the moving parts done the handles at the same time has been fine ever since hth funky :D :D

there are so many different types of chip jabba,etc whos got what and how do they rate them i dont wanna buy something ill not be happy with and then find out i could have got a better one cheers funky

HI ALL ive seen an ad in the golf for a g6o tuning kit includes chip 70 mm pulley and wider belt from supergolf imports says 190 bhp butt its only £120 can this be any good? seems too cheap has any one got this or know anything about it ? cheers in advance funky g60

yeah these cars are uk cars but there as much vw as a ford escort is ! they run vauxhall 16v engines in a space frame chassis with escort gearbox and back axle yep 250 bhp and rear wheel drive all the panels are grp and the weigh next to nothing :D

i had a problem like this on another car which it turned out to be the starter solenoid i would have thought this would have been replaced aswell its usually joined to the starter, for a quick fix hit the starter quite hard then try again should be enough to get you home
