hi all following some complications from laser eye surgery its looking like i still wont be able to drive this weekend and run my car on the rollers i will still be there just have to catch a lift with surf this does leave a space for anyone who is interested could they please contact me asap thanks funky

there is now 15 names on the list :D there is still a few places available for any one still undecided but i must receive your deposits before to book your place you cannot turn up on the day and expect to run your car for all of you that have paid your deposits thank you and ill see you all on the 19 th at 9 o clock the order of cars going onto the rollers will be as it is on the list (page 4)the same as i received payment which means im going first :lol: and will hopefully have a few more than last time i ran it after the last car has ran i think a pint will be needed so hopefully see you all up the boozer for a chat thanks funky

well im a sprayer and was trained on the job but really college is the way to go there are a lot off people out there that can say spray a car but there is a lot more to it than pulling a trigger i dont think 20 is to old in fact i was slightly older when i started and have now been doing it 10 years moneys not brilliant as with any job in the motor trade it all depends on what type of place you work at but you really sure this it what you want to do seems and ideal job if you love doing up cars but it doesnt take long to lose interest in your car as a hobby when youve been doing it for 45 hours a week hth funky

i too had trouble with my clifford concept 300 but when i took it back fixed no probs and was assured its only ever remotes or aerials that go, never let me down since funky

last time i had mine on the rollers i was glad i never had a front spoiler fitted might be worth taking it off to save any damage funky

yeah its definetley bonded in try removing the rubber only where you think it needs doing these are a right pain to get back in use loads of washing up liquid and squirt some sealer in there youll need some solvent ie thinners to clean off the excess hth funky

up until i started modifying my car the upkeep had been cheaper than my previous astra gte 2 years and no bills only servicing off course fitted a chip and pulley and ever since ive been chucking money at it trying to solve one prob after another my advice look for a good one and leave it alone funky

if the engine is hot and the radiator is cold it has to be the thermostat funky

i also had to replace this pipe not so long ago and whilst we are on the subject of common problems i think it would be worth checking your brake servo vacumn pipe mine had worn through resulting in no brakes when i rang around trying to get this pipe seconhand seems like a few people having same trouble at the moment hth funky

i can do machine polishing on any type of paint either laquered or solid colour it only needs flattiing or sanding if the paint finish has dirt in it or it is orange peel finish otherwise just polishing starting with g3 on a hard foam pad and finishing with g10 on a sponge pad will do most cars after having any type of paintwork done have this done as a matter of coarse before leaving the bodyshop hth funky

since having mine rebuilt to stage 4 i was surprised by the extra noise not rattley but it does scream funky

you can replace the plugs i did this on mine to stop them sqeeking i bought them from a motor factors and cost less than a quid hth funky

i too have no idea what goes on inside a charger and to be quite honest i think its better that way,best left to people like darren(8vg60) but the humming yes this is normal now mine has been stage 4 tuned the noise is awesome hth funky
